Diaoyutai was originally a ten-meter-square island in the thin West Lake. At the earliest time, there was a famous Pavilion in the whole country, named Blowing Pavilion. Therefore, the island was first named Blowing Pavilion. In the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River six times, passing through Yangzhou every time, and once Yaxing rose up and fished in Blowtai. After that, the platform was renamed Diaoyutai.
