Diana Plaza Hotel Restaurant & Bar Review

Very cosy place. I stayed here as I had a day procedure at the Mater hospital which is across the road. The rooms are clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful.

This hotel is need of an upgrade. I was made aware of this by others on Trip Advisor before I went so wasn't expecting much. On the positive side; it was quiet, the reception staff were very helpful, the beds were comfortable in Room 321, the room was clean, and transport was within my reach. The South Bank Station was a good walking distance from the hotel but a train could take you to the airport of the city, an easy walk to South Bank that's full of restaurants and pools and the buses were in front of Mater Hospital. The coffe Club was also there but not open on Sunday. For overseas visitors buy a GoCard if using public transport for any stay over a couple of days. You can buy one at Stations and the Ferry. I didn't use the buses so I'm not sure if you can on a bus.
