The Danbula Grottoes, a Buddhist grotto in Sri Lanka, is located in the middle of the Sri Lankan island, 149 km northeast of Colombo City and 60 km north of the ancient capital Kandy. Built in the 1st century BC, it is the place of pilgrimage in Sri Lanka and is located on the slope of a stone mountain.
