It is reported that Nanzhao Confucian Temple was built in the Ming Chenghua years, and was rebuilt since the Qing Kangxi and Daoguang years, and was renovated in the past dynasties. Nanzhao Confucian Temple was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in May 2012.
