Dafu Temple Review

Compared with a quiet temple, the number of people is far from Lingyin Temple and Jing Temple, but the Big Buddha Temple is quite large, the historical building is beautiful, it is a solemn and sacred place.

The Big Buddha Temple is a very lively monastery. On the 30th, first day, fifth day, and eleventh, these are very lively days, because tourists, burning incense and worshiping Buddha, seem to have rushed together.

The remains of the stone Buddha at the Great Buddha Temple in Hangzhou, Zhejiang (see picture above), halfway up the mountain in the south of the West Lake Gem Mountain. From the back, it still looks like the head of a big Buddha. The big Buddha faces south, only the head and two shoulders, so the head of the Buddha is particularly large, so Hangzhou people are known as the "big Buddha head".

Hangzhou Dafo Temple is located in the next road of Gem Mountain. In fact, you need to climb a short section of the mountain road with steps. It is halfway up the mountainside of Gem Mountain. The Big Buddha Temple is not a complete temple. There are still some relics left. By the way, it is still quite good.
