CUI MEI LOU Review

This building was built in 1831 and has been around for more than 180 years. There are 34 rooms on each floor of 4 floors. Although the volume is not large, its pillars are a bit crooked, but it does not affect the weight of the whole building, so it is a miracle in the history of architecture.

At first glance, this earth building is a bit messy, and the atrium has no inner building or ancestor hall. Compared with the commercialization, it is not well maintained. Residents will ask for a fee of 5-10 yuan for tourists to go upstairs.

Built in 1831, there are four floors, 34 rooms per floor. In the earth building, the volume is large. If you want to see, you have to pay another 5 yuan. As soon as you enter, you find the "wonderfulness" of this earth building: first, the three-story and four-story pillars of the building are crooked. The columns on the bottom two layers are straight, but at the third and fourth layers the columns suddenly become oblique and not tilted in one direction: the third layer is oblique to the left, and the fourth layer is oblique to the right.
