Cuba Street is a very special street in Wellington. As the name implies, this street is full of Cuban characteristics, the exterior walls of the house have very fine graffiti. Of course, this street is mostly Cuban immigrants, really have a feeling of being on the streets of Havana, very different.

惠灵顿的古巴街（CUBA TREET）位于市中心，南北方向，和VIVIN街交叉，南端一段长些。古巴街其中有一段是步行街。古巴街不宽却很有特色，墙上涂鸦，彩色的街面房子，咖啡香味飘逸，大大小小的咖啡店，小餐馆，杂货店分布在街道两侧，最显眼的是巨幅卡斯特罗的画像。古巴街名字源于一家新西兰公司的一条移民船的名字。现在古巴街成为惠灵顿独特的街区，虽然商业繁华了，但是社区文化和街景还保持着20世纪初的状态。有一家咖啡店挂着古巴旗引起我们注意，店面很小，主人忙乎完制作咖啡和接待客人，我们和他聊天。他到新西兰三年多了，他很坦率地说，开着咖啡店，一家人在新西兰很自由，也很幸福。聊起古巴的一些景点他很兴奋，他说也很爱古巴，将来会回去看看。古巴街一家海鲜店很大，供应生鲜鱼，虾，螃蟹等，也有海鲜快餐，一块现炸鱼，加上薯条7纽币。古巴街上小商店很多，书店，服装店，药妆店，理发店，旅行社等，门脸不大，装饰温馨浪漫。
