Ciyun Temple is located in the hometown of Premier Zhou Enlai, Huai'an, Jiangsu Province. It is the world-famous Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and Li Canal. It is the first of the eight jungles in the two Huaihuai. It is famous for its national teachers. Due to the years of war, Ciyun Temple was defeated due to its long disrepair. After liberation, the monastery property was taken over by the real estate department, and was occupied by the flower gauze company and hardware company. In 1986, after coordination with the provincial religious bureau and Huaiyin Municipal Government, the Buddhists were finally returned. In 1994, it was basically restored and officially opened to the public. After more than ten years of efforts, Ciyun Temple has been a brand new face, serving many Buddhists, and is also an important attraction in the Lihe Cultural Scenic Area.
