Ciyun Temple Review

Ciyun Temple is the first temple after Putuo Mountain enters the mountain gate. Ciyun Temple is next to the coastal archway. It is large in size and consists of many small courtyards. Since it is the first temple, there are many tourists who come in to sightseeing and burn incense, and the temple is by the sea. It is quite cool to sit here and rest.

Ciyun Temple is also called Ciyun Temple and Xinle Temple, referred to as "Xinyi". On the west side of the Putuo Mountain Coast Archway, it is the first monastery to the right after entering Putuo Mountain. Next to Ciyun Temple is one of the famous 12 new Buddhist temples: short-lived ruins. Ciyun Temple was founded in the Ming Wanli period. The temple is dedicated to Guanshiyin Bodhisattva, 14 rooms on both sides of the wing building, 39 temples, construction area 1392.23 square meters.

Ciyun Temple is in Putuo Mountain Scenic Area, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province.
