Ningxiang Pig, a specialty of Ningxiang County, Changsha City, Hunan Province, Ningxiang Pig is also known as Ningxiang Tuhua Pig, which is produced in the Liusha River and Caochong area of Ningxiang County, so it is also known as Caochong Pig and Liusha River Pig. It is one of the four famous pig species in China. It has a history of more than 1,000 years. In addition to Tibet and Taiwan, all other provinces, cities and autonomous regions have introduced Ningxiang pigs. Ningxiang flower pigs have high breeding rate, early maturity and easy fat, loose meat, and resistance to coarse feeding, and have a gentle temper and strong adaptability during breeding. During the long breeding process, a unique trait was formed: the meat was fine and delicious, known as the national important livestock gene bank.
