Christian Gracious Light Church Review

Enguangtang is the tallest building on the north street of Sishengyu. It was formerly known as the Methodist Wesleyan Church of Canada. It was first built in 1894 and has been destroyed three times in the turbulent era of the late Qing Dynasty. The existing church was built in 1921 and is nearly a hundred years old. Designed and built by Canadian missionary and architect Su Jixian, this building is the oldest and most complete Christian church in Chengdu.
