The Chicago History Museum is a museum that introduces Chicago's history, preserves and protects the remains of Chicago's major events. Near Lincoln Park, the exhibition is not very large. History museums in the United States pay more attention to the relics and remains of some important events in social life, as well as people's clothing, food, shelter and transportation in different periods. The Chicago Museum of History collects historical relics of Chicago, introducing Chicago's city-building and the famous Chicago fire; clothing and textiles, decorative arts and industrial arts, fine arts, prints and photographs of Chicago in various periods; and portraits of some Chicago celebrities from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century. There are special children's districts.
