It is a stunning church, and when Jaime I, the ruler of northern Spain, was captured in 1229 trying to conquer the island, he thought that if he could escape, he would build a great church to celebrate the merit of God. This is a Gothic church, one of the points is Gaudi's design of cast bronze casing, and there are 7 large rose windows, the largest known as giant eyes. Worth a visit!
