Cangtou River Ecological Corridor Review

Cangtou River Scenic Area is the core scenic spot of Youyu County's ecological tourism development project. The scenic area planning scope is from Changmenpu Reservoir Meadow to the south, to Haiziwan to the north, and to Caijiatun to Weijiabao as the center scenic spot. Natural water systems, riverbank grasslands, shrub arboretum forest belts and slow slope farmland form the native basis of natural ecology, and are also rare pastoral landscapes in the northern loess plateau.

The Cangtou River Ecological Corridor "mountain without head, water backflow" is known as the two wonders of Youyu County. The water backflow refers to the gushing river of the Cangtou River, unlike other rivers, which flow east or south, but flow north, flow 40 miles through Inner Mongolia into the Honghe River, and then turn south into the Yellow River. It is a great place for camping, traditional agro-ecological sightseeing, ecological wetland protection sightseeing, and a good place to relax and escape the heat.
