Cangqiao Straight Street is located in the historical district of Yuewang City, on the Shandong side of the capital. It is a historical and cultural street with the characteristics of the ancient city and traditional houses as the main connotation. Cangqiao Straight Street also won the "United Nations Asia-Pacific Heritage Conservation Award", calling the old street "a living display place of Chinese heritage". The old street is mainly composed of river channels, residential houses and stone roads. The mountain river in the middle of the old street is an important historical monument of Yuewang City, located on the central line of the old street. From the north, Shengli West Road and South Daluxun West Road are all2.2 kilometers long. From the north to the south, there are traditional ancient stone bridges such as Cangqiao, Longmen Bridge, Baozhu Bridge, Fuqiao, Shimen Bridge, Wine Bridge, Xiguan Bridge, Huangyi Bridge, etc., and the atmosphere of Pingtian Water City. The river is mainly water-town dwellings, mostly built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Minzu, of which there are 43 various platform doors, which reflect the traditional architectural characteristics and folk customs of Shaoxing. There are many traditional shops and restaurants on both sides of the street. In order to let visitors know as much as possible about Shaoxing customs, local institutions have also opened Yueyi Hall, Yellow Tavern, Drama Hall and Painting Hall in the street.
