Calouste Gulbenkian Museum Review

Open free at 2pm on Sundays and closed at 5pm (children under 12 are free of tickets), which is an unexpected blessing for our large group of people. We walked south of the magnificent museum complex, passed the independent modern art museum, through the beautiful gardens, and walked to the main pavilion. The walk itself was delightful. The museum is not particularly large, but the collections inside are carefully selected. The collection of Arabic pottery, oriental carpets and paintings are awesome. Photographs are allowed in the museum and flashes cannot be turned on.

There are many famous painters here, such as Cant, Monet and some other very famous painters, as well as some works by Rene Laric, which are highly recommended, and some Egyptian artworks, the decoration here is also full of artistic personality, when we are here, Many people also come here to visit. But people are very quiet, full of reverence and appreciation for the artwork.

Free tour time for one week. After 2 p.m. on Sunday, the subway will arrive. Not many visitors, but the environment is comfortable and pleasant, there are also cafes, cafes are more people. Private collections are certainly not comparable to those at the national level, but they are at the family level of private collections. There are both modern exhibitions and ancient ones. Museum staff are super friendly.
