Nyingchi, Tibet Buddha palm dunes. Located on the north bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River, near the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, the Buddha palm dunes are named after the palm of the Buddha with two hands. In fact, due to the strong wind outlet in the middle and lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, the wind is like a hurricane during the late autumn to the end of spring. The sand on the river bed before and after the dunes is exposed due to the dry water period, and it is blown and transported year after year and accumulated, which forms this special landscape.
