I was very much looking forward to the second climb of the Sydney Bridge. Same process, better equipment and connection system. Beautiful day, sunny but breeze blowing. The guide was great. Wonderful story and interesting facts about the bridge to take home. Highly recommend this unique experience. At first I wasn’t sure about the attraction when I saw the price tag attached, but it was fantastic. You can take three different routes and attend frequent meetings every day. Upon arrival, you will need to have a safety briefing and a breath analyzer test (you must be below 0.05 if I remember correctly). After the briefing, take it to another room to put on safety gear and provide lockers for all personal items, which let you wear keys around your neck during the climb. You are not allowed to carry any items with you, glasses are allowed, but seat belts are added. From the moment we started walking, our guide provided incredible information about the area around the bridge and its history. He discussed with us the stages of the bridge, how it was built, past historical facts and historical stories of the surrounding area. The climb itself was not too laborious, although it took a long time to walk, but most of the time spent stopping to observe the scenery. Along the route, we stopped many photography spots, the guide took separate photos, and at the top, we had group photos and videos. They charge a fee for a single picture but eventually they will provide you with a photo and video for free. I will definitely recommend it when you visit Sydney. I plan to revisit it next time I visit Sydney to try one of the other routes!
