More casual small shop, eating a simple breakfast is very suitable, some alcoholic drinks, but it feels very general.

This restaurant is good, the dishes inside are sweet, the taste is very suitable for Oriental people.

Josh Shoen, the Executive Chef at Breeze is a rock start, a true rock star! The Nantucket Hotel & Resort is the home of Breeze, a wonderful restaurant set in a historical Grande dame of a hotel. The double front doors were opened for us by a smiling bellman, and then as we walked into a beautifully decorated lobby we were given a warm welcome by the front desk staff and a really cool steampunk whale that actually moves when you press a button! I mean “What a great first impression!” The restaurant was already bustling with several guest at the bar and the dining room and this restaurant has a secret ingredient called the patio. It’s a protected area off the restaurant that has more dining tables, a seating area with a fire pit and often live music! We were offered a perfect table by our hostess with two cozy navy wingback chairs in their main dining area. The décor is nautical, yet fresh, navy and white with lovely yellow curtains and is furnished mostly with comfy chairs. The menu had many choices and I didn’t know where to start, it all sounded so good. Our waitress, a delightful girl with a fabulous accent from South Africa, I think her name was Natasha was very familiar with the menu and able to make some wonderful recommendations. For appetizers we settled on the Caprese Salad and Korean Poke. OMG! The presentation was so beautiful, I didn’t’ want to eat it. The salad consisted of quick fried basil leaves, just enough to give it a crispness and hold the green color in while sitting among a trio of heirloom red and yellow cherry tomatoes and mini mozzarella balls mixed with a tasty pesto. Sprinkled among this were tiny jell like balsamic pearls. It was delicious! The combination of textures is what I enjoyed the most with each bite until I persuaded my dining companion to share her appetizer with me. The Korean Poke was just as beautiful. Perched on top of a grilled thick pineapple slice was a bounty of marinated tuna and poka dots of something called gochujang,

My partner and I went to the Nantucket Hotel & Resort on Mother's Day weekend. We were blown away by the exceptional customer service, the cleanliness of the hotel and the over all vibe of the hotel. However, all of this took a back seat to the unbelievable Breeze restaurant. The food here was absolutely out of this world. We went all around the island for dinners and on our last night we had a reservation for Breeze. We had gotten great food prior to this evening. When we sat down the wait staff was friendly and prompt, the vibe of the restaurant was elegant and welcoming; but once the food started rolling in. We both didn't say a word to one another. We couldn't help but eat as if we had never seen food before. The flavors were amazing. The mussels were our absolute favorite! In fact we can't find mussels anywhere like that since! (I guess we will have to go back!) It was such a delight, our stomachs were both so full that by the time we got out filets we were worried about being able to finish them. It only took one slice into the perfectly prepared steak to seal our fates! There was no way we were going to let this one go to waste. It was like butter, you could cut it with your fork and the roasted bone marrow was to die for. My partner and I are both foodies and we have gone all around trying new and different foods. This by far was one of our favorite places we have ever been! I feel as though everyone should experience this restaurant if you come to the island!! It should be a staple. Hats off the the head chef!!! Mr. Schoen you should be extremely proud of yourself! Thank you for closing out our trip with a splendid explosion of tasty perfection!!! We will be back soon!

I haven't reviewed anything on TripAdvisor for quite some time but last night my family and I went to Breeze for dinner and I have to say it is the best restaurant I have eaten on Nantucket in the last three years. Finally something new and refreshing, finally something not uptight and stuffy, FINALLY NOT the same old food from establishments that try keep it like the "good old days"......but they still maintain their classiness. Every single part of the meal for each family members from the Starters to the Desserts were flawless/delicious and THE BEST. The service/waiter was top notch. Also at the end the Chef himself (Josh Schoen) came out and talked with us. I could go on and on but it is better to keep it short and sweet. Don't waste your time going to dinner elsewhere on ACK if you want the best, go to the best, GO HAVE DINNER AT BREEZE!!!

    4/5Excellent

The staff at the Nantucket Hotel are hands down perfection. The atmosphere and decor was divine. The food was very tasty. Overall it was a great experience. The kids also enjoyed their entrees. Our waiter was very patient with our 3 children and went out of his way to make us feel very comfortable.
