Bongos Cuban Cafe Review

This coffee shop is OK, the coffee is of good quality, and the taste is very mellow, the taste is very good and the dessert is not bad.

I went here with my wife for an anniversary dinner.  She is from Miami and both of us agreed the food is good here.  It is Disney so it was way overpriced but with it being Disney you also got more than a meal too.  There are salsa dancers and a live band and even one time where the whole restaurant gets into the action.  She had the Churrasco and myself the Ropa Vieja, both were excellent.  We ordered the tostones as a side and they tasted old but the manager came by, apologized and replaced them with maduros no questions asked.  It is very loud inside so don't expect a cozy,  romantic evening but it was a very good experience overall.

I made this reservation because my daughter read the menu online before our trip and thought the food looked amazing. We ate here our first night of our Disney. We were seated right away and we were looking forward to a fun, relaxing dinner. This is not what we got!!! First off, let me warn you, this place is loud. We had to almost scream to hear each other over the music!!! The whole place has a bar-club atmosphere. This is not what we were expecting after a busy travel day. The waitress we had was not very friendly at all, in fact, we felt rushed all through dinner. We sat down and immediately she wanted to take our order. When we told her we needed a few minutes to look over the menu, she left and didn't return for about 20 minutes!!!! The one plus was the Cuban dancers. They were fun to watch. The food was average. Nothing compared to the prices they were charging. We were not impressed and frankly, I was glad to leave. The whole place gave me a headache.
