Marconi's restaurant was one of the best "finds" of our Rome stay! We just happened to find it by walking by---the staff, especially owner/manager was super friendly. Their English was great, and they did everything they could to make our experience wonderful. I had the lasagna and it was superb! My husband had his first experience with Peroni beer, which he loved. It was a great neighborhood bar, quiet and cozy and we are so glad we found it! Great service, great food, great price. Go!!!



The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Sat outside with a nice view and enjoyed some very good food (amazing really, considering the low price). The Goulash was just amazing... Surpringly it was the food I enjoyed most during my stay in Rome ( and normally I am a pizza and pasta kinda guy). Best of all, it was 10 steps from my hotel too, hiding in plain sight! Only negative thing I could say was that the house wine was not very good... But for the crazy low price, I really shouldnt complain about that.

This place is just terrible. It was waste of money. The meat was old. My husband just threw it away. Maybe it is because it is in the touristic area, near the church san Maria Maggiore. Just don't go there. Even margarita - the easiest pizza tasted awful.
