Unfriendly, impolite, rude, unwelcome... staff. Acceptable coffee but VERY disappointing and uncomfortable experience, probably the only one in our trip to Japan. Nothing to do with other gourmet coffee spaces around the world.

BearPondNo.8coffee Located at the entrance of Onthecorner Restaurant, it is a small coffee shop with not many coffee varieties, but cappuccino is doing very well. It is forbidden to take pictures in the store. The per capita consumption is about 300-500 yen.

Don't spend your $$$ money here! It's completely overrated, it's tried too hard to be cool that they think they're incredibly special, but in reality, it's expensive, staff are rude, there are rules everywhere telling you that you cant take photos and every customer who enters must buy a coffee from them. See, they think they're special... Spend your hard-earned cash at another cute cafe in the area - there are loads to choose from!

The lady who served us was RUDE. This was an unusual experience for us in Japan. Then you see all the rules at the counter "No photos", "Minimum order one coffee per person"... who do they think they are?! Way too cool for school. Go somewhere else where they appreciate your custom and coffee is just as good. There are many cafes in the same neighbourhood. And btw, who runs a cafe which doesn't open til 11am?!
