The Atomium tower stands 102 meters high on the Hesel Plateau in Belgium, built for the 1958 World's Fair. It is a steel bone that has magnified iron molecules by 165 billion times. Its nine balls represent nine iron atoms and symbolize the nine provinces of Belgium.
