The Arou Temple in Qilian County is the largest Tibetan Buddhist Gelu temple in the area. The Arou Temple is located about 2,900 meters above sea level, facing north and south, facing the Babao River in front, and behind Gongbai Jialong Mountain. Like many Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, the Arou Temple is influenced by the traditional art of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and the influence of the architectural art of Han-style temples in different degrees of architectural styles. It is mostly a combination of Tibetan and Han architectural art, which is generally called Tibetan and Han architecture.
