The Azem Palace is next door to the National Museum and there are many, many domed mosques. This mosque is known to be typical of Turkish style, in fact, it is the work of Sinan, the greatest architect under Suleiman the Great, during the heyday of the Ottoman Empire. I didn't expect to see the design of Master Xinan again in Damascus, which is also a surprise. Now this mosque, part of it is a military museum. However, when I went there, it was also being repaired and not open to the outside world. Fortunately, I have little interest in the military museum in Syria.
