"The front desk kindly upgraded us to a suite for free, which even came with a separate bedroom and living room! Both rooms had their own TVs, and the air conditioning could be adjusted independently. It was a fantastic room! Very spacious and clean, with two bathrooms. The washer/dryer combo was in the bathroom, but you need to bring your own detergent, which you can buy at a small shop on Chun Yuen Street downstairs. The mini-fridge and microwave in the room were also very useful. You can ask the front desk for Hong Kong adapter plugs; just return them at check-out. The hotel also offers different pillow options. Both the gym and outdoor pool are quite large. During our stay, on Thursday, the pool and exterior windows were being cleaned, which shows how much the hotel values hygiene. We could also store our luggage for free on the day of check-out. There are plenty of restaurants, 'bing sutt' (local diners), and 'cha chaan teng' (Hong Kong-style cafes) inside and around the Hopewell Centre, offering options for every budget. There are also several brand stores for shopping. 'My Cup of Tea' and 'Beef King' are both on Chun Yuen Street. During our stay, the staff at Sasa in the building even proactively gave us discounts when we shopped there. The lobby is on the 19th floor. We entered through the Hopewell Gourmet Street and just had to go to the 3rd floor, then transfer to the elevator for the 19th floor. It was a bit confusing the first time because of the split-flow elevators, but just follow the clear and prominent signs when looking for the elevator, and once you get your bearings, it's very convenient. The hotel is close to Wan Chai MTR station, making transportation very easy. You can walk all the way to Causeway Bay in just 20-30 minutes, or take the 'ding ding' tram back and forth."

"I'm a monthly tenant here. I accidentally burned my ID on the induction cooktop, filling the entire room with a plastic smell. So, I quickly booked a one-night stay here. I booked a newly renovated room, hoping to try out their new accommodations. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. I thought the new room would be more comfortable than the old ones. But honestly, new isn't always better; the old rooms are actually more comfortable. As a tenant in an old-style, monthly rental room on the 19th floor with a sea view, it's far more comfortable than the new rooms. Why? Because the new renovation smell is still present. The hallway carpet has a strong, unpleasant post-renovation odor, an indescribable smell. Opening the room, there was a strong glue smell from the renovation that still lingers. When I showered, I noticed some glue residue on the showerhead handle, which I had to scrub off my hands repeatedly with hand soap. I'd say the hygiene is just average. Although it seemed clean on the surface after the renovation, there was still a lot of dust, for instance, on a shelf above the toilet. The shower water pressure was strong, but sadly, the shower handle had a lot of glue on it. And throughout my shower, I kept smelling glue, which was very unpleasant. So, I don't recommend anyone stay in the new rooms. While the room is spacious and has an open view, the renovation workmanship isn't great. This renovation is essentially a copy of the Alexandra Hotel in Fortress Hill. The wooden materials and wall panels are identical, even the bed frame design is the same. It's truly the same group, using the same materials. Basically, the wood materials aren't very good, and the whole room just reeks of plastic. Overall, I can only describe this historic hotel as 'okay'."

"From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with incredibly warm service from the hotel staff. The doorman, a handsome young man, opened the door for us with a smile. The talkative concierge efficiently handled our luggage storage, and the sweet and gentle front desk lady checked us in, explaining everything carefully and maintaining a friendly, smiling demeanor throughout 🌹🌹🌹🌹. Our room wasn't huge, but it was spotless and well-maintained! The location is super convenient; there's a bus stop just a short walk away, and the Sung Wong Toi MTR station is about a 5-minute walk. It's also only a 10-15 minute walk to Kai Tak Sports Park, which was perfect for a leisurely stroll back to the hotel after attending an event there 🎉🎉🎉."

"Honestly, this was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, and every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety of high quality options. The hotel’s location is also fantastic just a short walk to the harbour, making it easy to explore the area. "This was my second trip from Guangdong, and I chose this hotel specifically because it has metered parking right outside. However, the parking is free from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Saturday, and from 10 AM to 10 PM on Sundays and public holidays. If there are no spots available there, you can opt for the hotel's own parking for HKD250 per day. Image two shows the view from the hotel's sea-view room. The shipping lane can get quite busy at times, and it's fascinating to watch cargo ships constantly moving in and out. Image three displays the hotel's breakfast, which offers a selection of fixed set menus. The hotel is also currently running a breakfast promotion for guests, which makes it pretty good value for money. The nearby beach and Ting Kau Village are also perfect for a very chill stroll."

"affordable and good option for your stay in hong kong. room was pretty spacious (compared to the most of HK hotels) and clean. the staff were very friendly and helpful. didnt expect to have a swimming pool and a gym, pleasant surprise for us. and of course, let’s mention the location, walkable distance from Central with all the bars and restaurants, and just a few minutes away you can find a nice park to walk and enjoy the greenery"
