💞Travel notes
Last October, we said we would go out together in April of the following year. Because of spring break, we always remember your baby’s birthday every year. If we don’t go anywhere else, we will go with you to celebrate your birthday. This year, we agreed to go to Sedona Arizona.
Many people told me that Sedona is so beautiful that a week’s vacation is not enough. You said that Sedona is said to be the place where the spiritual energy of heaven and earth gathers (vortex?), and everyone comes here to cultivate spiritual energy. Although we brought two naughty kids with us, it is hard to imagine how it has anything to do with spiritual cultivation. In short, for the same or different reasons, or maybe where to go is not the most important thing, we agreed to go on this little trip.
In April, the heat wave just came. Phoenix has reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Sedona is at a higher altitude but it is still very hot at noon. The plan is to arrange the hiking trip in the morning and evening, and visit the art village at noon. As soon as I entered Sedona, I was shocked by the towering red rocks. The scenery suddenly changed from boring and barren gray-colored rocks to exquisite crafts carved by time. You can imagine where the spiritual energy comes from. The parking lot was almost full before 9 o'clock in the morning. Fortunately, the boys were very interested in climbing rocks.
It was quite fun. I haven't walked this kind of route that requires hands and feet for a long time. The boys rushed straight up. Fortunately, the little one was only eight years old and not tall enough. The height he could climb was limited, otherwise I couldn't catch up. After climbing Bell Rock halfway up the mountain, I saw Little Bell next to it. Later, the little boy said that this summit was his favorite of the day.
At 11 o'clock, it was too hot and the sun was shining in the sky. We decided to leave the shade. Asked, did you feel the spiritual energy of heaven and earth? The Bell Rock we just climbed is a gathering place of spiritual energy. You said, no, a little disappointed, maybe you can feel it in the early morning or evening. We laughed. But the beauty of the scenery, seeing the vastness of heaven and earth, feeling a drop in the ocean, the wind and water are truly amazing, and the trip is worth it.
At noon, we entered the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, found a cute little shop, ordered a few cups of Indian milk tea, a few handmade cookies, and sat and chatted. The desert wind was very comfortable, and it felt like spring. There were a lot of old friends, and we didn't feel awkward even if we didn't talk. We sat and waited for time to pass slowly. People in the desert must be very patient.
At four o'clock in the afternoon, it was a little cool, so we decided to explore another hiking route, going to red crossing. The route started out quite desolate, and there was no beautiful scenery in front of us. When we arrived, we suddenly realized that red crossing was of course the place where we crossed the river. The shallow water was gurgling, and there was a holy red stone standing in the distance. As the angle of the sun lowered, it slowly showed a soft red light, which was extremely beautiful. Regardless of adults or children, they couldn't help but take off their shoes and socks and step into the cold stream. No one can resist the charm of the river in the desert. The temperature was just right, the crowd was just right, and the light in the sky was just right. I smiled and said, how is the spiritual energy here?
Little boys are taken care of by big boys, laughing and laughing, you lie down on the big rock, and I soak in the water while enjoying the evening light - the beauty of the desert is best displayed in the evening and night. If Sedona is like the world, the healing air will only appear at this time. Take a deep breath, children, friends, and the vast world are the best nutrients in life.
The valley tour always ends with falling into the water. Wet, stepping on the remaining light of the sunset, with full energy, we have more courage to hold hands and move forward! #Arizona #AmericanTravel
