A Must-Try Buffet at INPARADISE
I dined at the Xinzhuang branch of INPARADISE! Compared to the Breeze Xinyi branch, it's easier to make a reservation here. The Xinzhuang branch is located on the 39th floor of the Honghui Siyuan Building. You need to check in on the first floor before going upstairs to queue for entry. I didn't notice this and went straight upstairs to queue. Fortunately, the restaurant helped me check in on the spot when I entered. 😂
INPARADISE features a circular design with food stations on all four sides. Most of the dishes are quite good. The seafood, fried items, duck rolls, and desserts are all delicious. The ribeye steak was a bit tough. At 12:30, someone will notify you when the soufflé is served, which is definitely worth trying. 😋
I particularly liked their cocktails. There are three in total, and my favorite is the South Island Breeze. It's based on wine and pandan leaves, giving it a unique pandan flavor right from the first sip! Moonlight has a lychee aroma and a sweet and sour taste, which girls will love! For those who prefer a stronger alcohol taste, choose the Golden Night Sky, which has a rich whiskey flavor.
INPARADISE is a great place to celebrate birthdays. Not only is the space spacious with a wide view, but if you dine within three days before or after your birthday, you'll also receive a complimentary can of tea. 😆

A long-time entry on my list, 'Hezhi' is located in the alleys of the traditional market in Xinzhuang. Despite its small space, it exudes a serene and warm atmosphere. The daily desserts vary and are listed on the blackboard at the counter. On that day, I chose the #StrawberryPuff. Though not large in size, the puff's outer shell is a slightly sweet, crispy pastry filled with plenty of strawberries and custard—a simple yet classic perfect combination that I absolutely loved. The caramelized brown sugar on the rim of the cup adds a fragrant crunch without being overly sweet. Overall, I really enjoyed it. 🤍

Visited this joint at about 11pm on a weekday.. airconditioned seating with tables set at reasonable spacing.. There are a variety of options available and can be cooked fried or bbq. You can basically order off the menu for choices of specialty or can pick up the sticks from the refrigerator
老王炸烤 has a couple of other outlets in Taipei city
