On the way back to Beijing, I decided to visit the town. I found a cafe nearby in advance, and the reviews were good, so I went to have a look. There is a large space in front of the store for parking, so it is convenient to drive here. The store is not very big, but it is beautifully decorated with wood colors, dried flowers, and even a vintage piano. Many small items are very stylish, and the overall atmosphere is really suitable for taking photos. There are both espresso and pour-over coffee. You can smell the beans on the table first. There are also many special drinks. You can consult the staff about the flavor. I chose a pour-over coffee and a special drink with pear flavor, both of which were good. They also have many cakes. Scones are probably always available in the store, and other cakes appear randomly. They all look good. I chose a pistachio chocolate cake, which was not very sweet and quite delicious. It is a very comfortable store, and the overall impression is really good. I will come back next time if I have the chance.

#birds of a feather, will enjoy the Wetlands If you ever get to visit Wuqing (a City some 40 min from Beijing, via the fast train), take the time to visit The National Wetland Park. The Wetland Park, is a must visit if you are a "birder" (a person who seriously pursues the hobby of birding). There are well illustrated signs along the walking trails. The signs show a picture of each of the species, with the Scientific name as well as the Chinese name. Locals enjoy fishing from the walking bridges, whilst others enjoy the scenery. The river makes for a picturesque setting, with the sun's reflection bringing the water to life. Colourful leaves cover the entire terrain during the season of Autumn / Fall. Although you are surrounded by beautiful nature, you will find some small convenience stores, just a short walk away.
