#hellohalloween Fab Halloween weekend in West Malling visiting the Spadework Pumpkin picking and carving hundreds of different varieties of pumpkins all sizes & colours lots of rare pumpkins at different prices well priced and lots of photo opportunities with the Halloween themed backgrounds and Halloween spirit then onto trick or treating. Kids love this place

First time dining at this establishment (was recommended by a relative). Although it’s an Inn it has a set menu which I personally think some items are a little on the pricey side. I ordered from tapas menu (Patatas Bravas along with Albondigas-spicy meatballs), both dishes were well presented and tasted averagely nice but nothing to rave about. The staff were welcoming although service was quite slow. Overall was an average meal and experience

This early and well-preserved example of a small free-standing Norman tower keep is located on a natural sandstone ledge near the head of a narrow valley. Rising almost to its original height, the tower takes its name from a chapel of St Leonard which once stood nearby. Very little is known about the history of the building or its intended purpose. Some believe that it once stood as part of a castle, constructed between 1077 and 1108 by Gundulf, Bishop of Rochester, while a second school of thought argues its builder to have been Bishop Odo of Bayeux, half brother of William the Conqueror.
