There is a small coastal town called Vung Tau next to Ho Chi Minh City. Chinese people rarely visit it. You must climb Mount Christ when you come to Vung Tau. The most famous statue of Jesus in the world is the one in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. But did you know? The largest statue of Jesus in Asia is in Vung Tau. It is 32 meters tall, with arms spread out 18 meters, standing on the top of the mountain facing the sea, standing in the wind, more shocking than the photo. There is no charge for climbing the mountain. There are 811 steps in total. It is not difficult to climb. There are many viewing platforms along the way. Walk and take pictures, and you will reach the top of the mountain soon. What is special is that you can enter the interior of the statue of Jesus. Climb to the top and look out at the sea from Jesus' "arms". It's wonderful! However, the passage becomes narrower as you go up. After reaching the top, the staff will randomly assign you to stand on one of Jesus' left and right arms. It should be noted that you cannot enter the statue with a backpack or shoes. Vests and bottoms shorter than the knees are also prohibited. After going down the mountain, you can visit Vung Tau Church. Then don't miss the Centella asiatica milk tea at Rau Má Bà Già. VUNG TAU MUSEUM...!!! One of the most surprising things in this trip to Vung Tau was visiting the Provincial Museum - a place rarely mentioned in travel reviews, but it brings an extremely valuable experience. Luckily, a local friend suggested it, and I learned about this place. The entrance fee is only 40k, but inside is a treasure trove of knowledge and stories about this land. The museum has 4 floors, each floor is a separate world - from nature, culture, life to the heroic history of our ancestors through the ages. The layout is neat, the images and artifacts are vivid, easy to understand, easy to feel. I was really impressed because I didn't expect that in the middle of a coastal city there would be a place that preserves such beautiful history. If you are someone who loves learning about culture - history, or simply want to have a quiet moment during your trip, don't miss this place. I rented for 2 days for 2 girls, so each person only spent 300k ^^ (The advantage here is that the hotel room is very spacious and comfortable). Vung Tau, a beautiful coastal city in the South, is just a 2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, making it a frequent destination for me. The coastal road here is clean and scenic, with the blue sea on one side and mountains on the other. Though small, Vung Tau offers plenty to explore, from its beaches to its rich Southern cuisine. Popular beaches include Thuy Van, Dau, and Dua. Thuy Van beach is the main public swimming area, lined with parks, snack stalls, and plenty of hotels and resorts. For a quieter experience, I prefer Tam Duong beach (Front Beach) with its coconut trees and closer views of ships. This area also offers cafés, souvenir shops, and seafood restaurants. Behind Fusion Suites Hotel, Xom Luoi Market is a must-visit for fresh seafood – a favorite spot where my daughter and I enjoyed picking out live seafood for a custom meal. Vung Tau’s food scene is another highlight. Don’t miss local specialties like banh khot, salted egg sponge cake, Alibaba ice cream, and stingray hotpot. Visiting this place, however, requires you to have a moderate level of physical fitness, which means this place isn't recommended to tourists with cardiovascular problems. Location: Vungtau in Vietnam. Getting there: Vungtao city is located 90 minutes on boat from Ho Chi Minh. We stayed in Vung Tau for four nights at the Cao Hotel. There are two beaches in Vung Tao. One is called front beach and one is called back beach. I recommend staying at front beach. Many five star hotels line up here and you have excellent access to the beach. This beach city is cheaper than most in Asia and it's really nice to swim and relax. Even in the winter, it's warm! #vungtau #vietnam

Not expensive and you will be there in less than two hours. This Jesus statue sits at the top of a hill, similar to the one in Rio. You can climb the steps inside and stand on the arms to get a panoramic view of the beach town. Inside the statue also contains a small museum with art and relics. Vung Tau is a small, coastal city in the south of Vietnam. On the edge of the city, walking distance is a hill and on top of the hill is the amusement park. There's a cable car that takes people on top and back. The tickets for the cable car and the amusement park ate bought at the cable car entrance. The park is very cheap and the ticket includes everything inside the park. There's also a big swimming pool, with slides inside the amusement park. People can relax on the chair by the pool. There are some restaurants and snack shops around the park. It's definitely worth seeing one or twice. #rediscovertravel
