[Traveling around Eastern Europe] After the Great Telovo
victory over Byzantium, the second empire of Bulgaria, which was brilliant for two hundred years, was finally conquered by Osman. The castle in the capital of Veliko Tarnovo (right, not only the emperor of Russia called the tsar) castle was destroyed, and now only the wreckage remains.
This city seems to fit the way I should have in Bulgaria. The pace is very slow, the house is very old and the street is quiet.
There are actually two Lebanese girls in the Youth Hostel. They were told that I had been to Lebanon and were amazed; another guy from Honfleur, France, was surprised because I told him that I had been to their Impressionist town and visited the Eugen Bhutan Museum.
A pair of Taiwanese couples who were three years younger than I was yesterday. One is a chef and the other is a nurse. Every time I work, I will resign and play for a while. This time, like me, I have been carrying dozens of liters of big bags in Europe for more than two months. Thanks for giving me allergy medicine, this year's pollen allergy is very serious because I returned to Europe.
The last night of Bulgaria, unfortunately, because of allergies, did not dare to drink more.
Twelve to fourteenth century Veliko Tarnovo was once the capital of Bulgaria. The ancient city was built on the hills. The remains of the palace and castle towered on the hills of Chalevitz. The glory of the period is still identifiable.
Walk in the old town, the river valley passes through the city. Several or modern or classical murals attracted me to stop and enjoy. On the day of our arrival on May 24th, it coincided with the Bulgarian education culture and the Slavic byte, and people dressed up to celebrate the festival. The Tsarevets Castle Music Light Show after the night is a repertoire here.
