Scenic Food Stop in Toledo City, Cebu
#hellohalloween
Driving through Toledo City, Cebu offers plenty of scenic views but one of the best stops along the way is Lantaw-Lantaw Restaurant, where good food meets a great view. Perched on the hillside along Diosdado Macapagal Highway, this open-air restaurant has that relaxed provincial charm, bamboo accents, wide wooden tables, and the cool mountain breeze drifting through while the grill sizzles nearby. The name Lantaw-Lantaw (meaning look around) perfectly fits the setting, every corner invites you to take in the lush surroundings. The menu is pure Filipino comfort food like grilled pork belly, chicken barbecue, seafood, and hearty soups (I love their Sinigang or sour soup) served with steaming rice. Everything tastes even better with the smoky aroma from the open grill and the laughter of families and riders stopping by for a meal. Come in the late afternoon to catch the golden sunset over the hills, it’s the perfect backdrop for a cold drink and unhurried conversation.
📍 Location: Diosdado Macapagal Highway, Toledo City, Cebu
