Myanmar is a Buddhist country so wherever you go you can see different kinds of monasteries. #campingglamping #awesomepic #mytripvlog #tripblazers #summervacation #celebratewithtrip #nationalpark #trip
Beautiful Inle Lake
Discover a Myanmar less discovered, and take a half (or full) day boat tour to the villages around Inle Lake. We arrived by afternoon, enough time to wrap up the tour with stunning sunset. Serene and simply magical. Villages of simple homes made of wood and woven bamboo rise on stilts above water that, in sections, with elaborate floating gardens. The lotus fabric weaving workshop was also worth to visit. Overall experience was excellent.
For those hesitant of boat adventures, fret not: the boats are extremely comfortable, not at all sea-sickness-inducing, and each passenger is seated in a very relaxing armchair of their own for the entire ride.
Getting there - 1 hour domestic flight from Yangon to Heho Airport in Shan State.

Amazing place
A one hour boat ride down a small canal take you to the Pa-Oh village of Indein, positioned on the western shores of Inle Lake. You will take a leisurely stroll around the village before ascending the staircase leading to the pagoda. Once you’ve arrived at the summit, you will be greeted by an iconic Buddha image which sits enshrined among hundreds of stupa ruins and overgrown shrubbery. The Indein Pagoda complex is undoubtedly one of the most amazing sites around the shore of the lake and it consists of hundreds of small stupas which are overrun by moss and greenery. On your boat ride back, you can stop at the Inthar Heritage House to learn more about the history and culture of the lake’s indigenous people.

a perfect getaway place to relieve the stress!
welcome to Myanmar 🇲🇲!
the pictures uploaded are located in the city of taunggyi which is situated in Shan state. The greeneries and the peacefulness of taunggyi is definitely a much needed break. Adding on to that, a cup of red hot tea in the morning along with tea leaf salad make the best breakfast combo. Then in the evening, a stroll on the mountain gives the perfect breather needed. of course, we cannot forget the infamous Shan noodles. the savory, chewy, greasy goodness can be enjoyed together with a soup that can last you for a couple of hours. visit taungyi!
Shwe Indein Pagoda is one of the most important religious and historical building in Indein village. It's worth a pricier boat ride to make it out there to enjoy the good views from the lake.
The place is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see. This place is in excellent condition, you don’t need to use your imagination as you can see all details well-preserved. You will find yourself having so much fun wandering around this place, taking photographs as you will feel there are many details to discover. It opens to the public everyday from 7 am to 6 pm.

Few places represent so clearly the meaning of Myanmar. There is so much to see and do in Inle Lake and, above all, to feel, that it is best not to follow any other scheme than the one it proposes.
Although Inle Lake is actually only 11 kilometers long, it is spread over so many marshes and canals that its watery influence ultimately extends for just over 100 kilometers.
Fortunately, the shores of the lake are still largely untouched by any constructions that might obstruct such a dreamlike panorama. Nyaungshwe, the most important city with the largest tourist infrastructure, is connected to the lake by a canal of approximately 4 kilometers, which distances the Natural Reserve from any self-respecting urban commotion.#nationalpark
Inle Lake
Inle Lake (Burmese: အင်းလေးကန်; MLCTS: ang: le: kan, [ʔɪ́ɰ̃lé kàɰ̃]), a freshwater lake located in the Nyaungshwe Township of Shan State, part of Shan Hills in Myanmar (Burma). It is the second largest lake in Myanmar with an estimated surface area of 44.9 square miles (116 km2), and one of the highest at an elevation of 2,900 feet (880 m). During the dry season, the average water depth is 7 feet (2.1 m), with the deepest point being 12 feet (3.7 m). During the rainy season, this can increase by 5 feet (1.5 m).The watershed area for the lake lies to a large extent to the north and west of the lake. The lake drains through the Nam Pilu or Balu Chaung on its southern end. There is also a hot spring on its northwestern shore.
Large sections of the lake are covered by floating plants. Its clear and slightly alkaline waters (pH 7.8–8) are home to a diverse fauna and many species found nowhere else in the world (endemics). There are more than 35 native species of fish, including 17 endemics. Some of these, notably the Sawbwa barb, red dwarf rasbora, emerald dwarf rasbora, Lake Inle danio, Inle loach and the Inle snakehead, are of minor commercial importance for the aquarium trade. Several fish that are not native have been introduced. Additionally, the lake is home to about 45 species of freshwater snails, 30 of them endemic, along with a small endemic freshwater crab, Inlethelphusa acanthica. It hosts approximately 20,000 migratory gulls in November to January.
In June 2015, it became Myanmar's first designated place of World Network of Biosphere Reserves. It was one of 20 places added at the Unesco's 27th Man and the Biosphere (MAB) International Coordinating Council (ICC) meeting. Since 2018 it has been designated as a protected Ramsar site.

Inle lake and a floating village
I visited this lake last two years. Inle lake is famous for a floating village and its traditional way of living. Some people live in the lake where they build floating houses and community including religious sites. It was amazing how people adapt themselves to the environment substantially. Also Don’t forget to look for fisherman in the lake. They catch fish by one leg! amazing!!

One of the highlights of my visit to Myanmar was taking a 2-day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake. This path winds through the Burmese countryside, tiny villages, beautiful quiet forests, and acres of farmland and rice paddies. It’s my top recommendation for people looking for unique things to do in Myanmar. If you have time, the full trek takes 3 days (and 2 nights), but you can also do it in 2 days if you’re short on time. Along with admiring the amazing untouched scenery, you’ll also be able to connect with your guide, as well as the locals in the villages you pass through as you stop for meals and accommodations. Be sure to request a stay in one of the old wooden monasteries — the accommodations are far from luxury (you’ll be sleeping on a mat on the floor) but it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience that you won’t want to miss! Spend at least a few days in Inle Lake after your trek is finished, exploring the water villages, the amazing restaurants, and the artisan crafts for which this beautiful lake town is famous. #awesomepic
On a longtail boat exploring this vast lake (at 1,000 metres high, so nice cool breeze) with all the monasteries and pagodas you can imagine, incl floating gardens and villages on the lake. Special mention / thanks to Aureum Palace hotel (on the calm East side of the lake) for their wonderful hospitality, exemplary service and prime setting.
#GiveThanks
A day at the lake...definitely a show for tourists as it brought every handmade craft, floating garden, minority tribe together in easy reach for tours but still incredible. As were the stupa ruins everywhere. #inlelake #myanmar
The floating market at Inle Lake is the best place to experience the lifestyles and customs of Myanmar's indigenous people. Here, you can feel the randomness of the food market, the fresh and seductive fruits and vegetables, and the locals. Bargaining, who will not love the ordinary life of fireworks? Most of the products in the
water market come from floating islands. The water market here is similar to the country market in China. Every five days, there are local spices, fruits and vegetables, as well as fresh fish, shrimps and crabs that are salvaged in the water, as well as sugar and mountain goods shipped from the mountains. Wait, dazzling, rich in variety, cheap.
With the winds and waters of Inle Lake tourism in recent years, various souvenirs such as wood carvings, lacquer wares and Buddha statues have appeared on the water market. Although not too fine crafts, it is It best reflects the local folk customs.
Niangshui Town is very small. The place to get off is very close to the scheduled hotel, and it took 5 minutes to drag the box. At the front desk, the proprietress filled out the form and entrusted the baggage.
Go to the dock to find a boat. The pier is also not far away and walks to arrive. Just walking to the bridge, there is a ship boss to ask if you want a boat. Talking to him about the price and the itinerary, he sat in his shop waiting for the boatman. A boatman came, moved the boat to the dock and picked me up. About half past five, I started the tour of Inle Lake.
day is already light. From the pier to the real lake area, a narrow waterway is required. On both sides of the waterway are various cruise companies and shops. The air on the surface of the water is cold and cold. After the boat accelerates, the morning breeze blowing in the face is cool and strong, let me fight.
At Inle Lake, unique one-legged fishing can be seen both in the morning and before sunset. There is also a performance of bamboo poles for one-legged fishing. Real fishermen are now fishing with fishing nets. Fishermen are performance-oriented and need to tip. Between the lakes and mountains, the fishermen rowed the boat, and the various actions of fishing were carried out. Whether it's a performance or not, it's enough to be natural and aesthetically pleasing to the environment.
The sun came out from behind the mountains, and the color on the lake turned from cold to warm. The birds flew over the mountains in the direction of the sun. The waterfowl is flying low on the lake, and the fisherman is working hard. The fragrance of the water grass is infiltrated in the humid air. This is the morning of Inle Lake, and everything is just right.

Smiles and blessings from Inle Lake!
Nice places in Shan State in Myanmar #kalaw
It’s the festival called hot air balloon festival in Myanmar. There are thousands of people are joining to celebrate the festival including some foreigners. There are many hotels with reasonable prices near the event. I went there with my family. I took the public transportation to join the event. It was amazing, beautiful and unforgettable vibe for my life.
Inle lake boat Myanmar 🇲🇲
#localtourguides
Inle lake is located in the western part of Shan state in Myanmar 🇲🇲 .
It is the second largest lake in Myanmar, with an estimated surface area of 44.9 square miles (116 km2), and one of the highest at an elevation of 2,900 feet.
The interesting is that locals are living on the water houses and their main business is doing watery fields such as vegetables tomatoes and fishing 🎣.
Nowadays, tourism and boat services become their major income sources. We went there on October and it was the fine weather with no rain and good to explore the whole lake with a boat tour.
The boat tour took the whole day and it was amazing the fishermen were doing boating with one leg. Lakes with the mountains views was quite beautiful and the locals are very friendly.
Highly recommended to visit if you’re around the Shan state in Myanmar 🇲🇲.

Bagan - Myanmar A niche and divine spot in Southeast Asia
Among the major cities in Myanmar, Bagan left the deepest impression.
In February, the daytime temperature was over 40°C, so be sure to apply sunscreen. It's very convenient to buy a SIM card from Taobao before you go. Few people, beautiful scenery, highly recommended.
On the 25 square kilometer plain of Bagan, there are more than 2000 pagodas. The large pagodas are well-known, while the small ones are only numbered. You can choose to ride a horse cart, an electric bike, or walk among the pagodas. The scale of pagoda construction during the Bagan Dynasty is considered the pinnacle in Myanmar's history of pagoda building. They are everywhere you look, in clusters and groups. Riding an electric bike every day on the dirt roads to explore various pagodas is endlessly fun and unforgettable.
In the early morning, hot air balloons slowly rise from the misty trees, and the centuries-old pagodas stand solemn and serene. The hot air balloon sunrise here has a much stronger sense of history. Even more beautiful are the sunrises and sunsets on the plain. Sneaking up a thousand-year-old pagoda at dawn to watch the sunrise and hot air balloons rise simultaneously is a unique experience.
Transportation: Fly from domestic cities to Yangon or Mandalay in Myanmar, then take a bus to Bagan.
Sightseeing: The Bagan plain is divided into three areas: New Bagan, Old Bagan, and Nyaung-U. If you have a short travel time, it is recommended to mainly visit Old Bagan, where most of the major pagodas are located. If you have more time, you can also visit Nyaung-U and New Bagan.
Travel Route: The main travel cities in Myanmar include Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, and Inle Lake. If you visit all four, it's best to reserve about 10 days.
Travel Season: The best time to travel in Myanmar is during the cool season from October to February each year. The sky is clear, and the sunlight is abundant. This season is also the best time for photography in Bagan and U Bein Bridge.
