Favorite Things at Kalaw, Shan State

#favouriteitinerary Kalaw is a very popular holiday destination in Myanmar for its beautiful flower fields and the cold weather up on the mountains. There are 3 routes, whether by own car to the city or taking a commercial bus to there. The last way is by plane where it lands at the nearest city and you take a car ride to Kalaw ~ There are great hotels that you can even find here on trip.com for less than $50 a night!! They have many popular cafes and flower fields. Their wine garden is also very popular, you can have quality local made wine there for an affordable price. They also have a playground where you can zipline, etc. The vibe is very similar to Chiang Mai Thailand but a very less popular location. As the pictures suggest, I went on a family trip :). This place is compatible for family/couples/friends/solo trip. Not to mention all the popular places of Shan State being in the Area, it’s a must visit stop!
