At the tip of the Atsumi Peninsula in the east of Aichi Prefecture, there is a chalk lighthouse, Irago Cape Lighthouse, at Cape Irago. The lighthouse standing among the blue sea and sky is wonderful, but you can also spend a romantic time with your loved one with the setting sun. It is said that Koijigahama Beach along the cape was named after the legend that a noble man and woman fled from the capital to this peninsula because of their love. It is also famous for being the setting for Shimazaki Toson's lyric poems. I used the accommodation subsidy from Aichi Prefecture to go to a small inn where you can enjoy hot springs and cuisine on the Atsumi Peninsula. The room is an old Japanese-style room, but the dinner with lots of fresh seafood is amazing. Of course, there is also a natural hot spring. The food is quite filling, as you can see in the picture. The sashimi includes locally caught grouper and blackthroat seaperch. Using the subsidy, it was effectively 3,000 yen with two meals. Aichi Prefecture Irago Cape Koijigahama It's a little far from Nagoya, but it's a great place for a drive. Irago is a popular beach for surfers, and although the waves are rough, the ocean is beautiful. The wind here at Koijigahama is so strong that we couldn't make it to the lighthouse and had to turn back halfway. The specialty of Irago is the giant clams. Although they're called giant clams, they're not clams, but a type of shellfish called Uchimurasaki, and they're delicious! #Nagoya #Aichi Prefecture #Irago

This white-walled lighthouse, built at the tip of the Atsumi Peninsula, overlooks the black currents of the Pacific Ocean and the deep blue calm of Mikawa Bay. As opposed to the Kawashima Lighthouse which shines its light out over the open seas, the Cape Irago Lighthouse was built in 1929 to guide shipping lanes in coastal waters, and has continued to protect passing vessels ever since. Such lighthouses built at the water's edge are rare in Japan, and in 1998 it was selected as one of the Best 50 Lighthouses of Japan, as a memorial to the proud role it has played, and today stands as a tourist symbol of the Irago Cape. #triplocal #triplocal

Tahara, Japan- Few kilometers away from Nagoya a small and quiet city. Tried the famous Japanese ramen and it’s so delicious. Of course tried also to buy at their vendo machine. #EnjoyJapan #trip In the slightly chilly season when the cherry blossoms are in bloom, I took a solo trip across the Atsumi Peninsula, Chita Peninsula, and Ise Bay from Nagoya down towards Irako, then took a boat from Irako to Toba, then Toba to Ise, then Ise to Kuwana, and finally reached my goal in Nagoya. I spent about two weeks enjoying the seasons, enjoying the nature, enjoying the cherry blossoms, and sometimes my feet hurt from walking too much... But the sense of accomplishment when I reached the goal brought me to tears. I highly recommend it. Please give it a try!

The big, rugged rocks create an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a foreign country. I drove along the coast, and along the way there were many melon farms, and lots of delicious melons! You can eat them at a great price that's incomparable to Tokyo. The sea was as colorful as the sea in Okinawa I didn't expect the sea on the Pacific side to be so beautiful There were few people, and it felt like a private beach I relaxed at Sekimon while listening to the sound of the sea! I went to "Atsumi's Donburiya Marumi" in #Tahara City, #Aichi Prefecture ((((((っ･ω･)っ I went there for the seafood bowl, but I was drawn to the "Seafood Mille-feuille Bowl" so I ordered that instead (o･ω-人) The seafood was piled high on top of the vinegared rice, and the whitebait was spread underneath, and it was really delicious (*´ч`*) You can have as much fish soup as you want, and the flavor of the yellowtail really came out and it was delicious ♡ ｷｬｯ(∀〃(〃∀)ｷｬﾂ♡ If you ever go to the Atsumi Peninsula, I definitely want you to go and try it Ψ( 'ч' ☆) #Traveling with Me #Shinobi-chan

I went to #NishinohamaWindPowerPlant in #TaharaCity, #AichiPrefecture ((((((っ･ω･)っ I had a pleasant 4.4km drive on the straight road along the sea with no traffic lights♡Kyaa (∀〃(〃∀)Kyaa♡ It felt so good ψ(｀∇´)ψ The contrast between the white windmills and the sandy beach and pine forest is beautiful The seven windmills lined up along the sea face the thermal power plant to the north, creating a beautiful scene where you can see both thermal and wind power. It is a straight and magnificent sandy beach that stretches for about 2 kilometers. I went mountain climbing on the Atsumi Peninsula! The mountains on the Atsumi Peninsula are low in altitude so you can climb them without snow even in winter! It was a luxury to be able to see magnificent views of the sea, mountains, and the local specialty cabbage! The weather was nice and we could even see Nagoya and Mie prefectures! The 5-hour traverse was a great workout!
