Beautiful historical bridge with a railway track on it that is now a tourist spot. The current railway line is just next to it . Located near Karai , a short drive away from Sg Siput or Kuala Kangsar. 👣 There is also a nice bike track nearby here where one can cycle along the river up north for about 25km, meandering through the countryside. Worth a trip here to have a look and explore with your bikes. The surrounding areas are also very nice to cycle with lovely kampungs and really nice roads. Also available bicycles to rent for those wanted to go for ride around this area. Have you ever heard about Hictoric Victoria Bridge @ Kuala Kangsar Perak??? If you watch the epic movie Zombie Kampung Pisang, where all the zombie gathered. Well, this is the place. Kinda spooky right?? Haha Just kidding.. This place is historic and INSTA WORTHY!!! Well the resort is just beside this bridge. The resort is kinda unique in its own way. It got an industrial vibes and ‘Kampung’ feel. You got to experience it yourself. Its a good stay here. The room is big. The toilet is clean. There is an on-site cafe open from breakfast till dinner. Victoria Bridge is situated in a small village Karai, postcode 33600, Enggor, Kuala Kangsar, about 20mins from Kuala Kangsar town centre. It’s located near D’Village Victoria Bridge. Lata Penyel is definitely one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Malaysia. It is located inland of Sungai Siput, Pos Yum, where the aboriginals villages are. The distance from Sungai Siput town area to the waterfall is about 60KM. It is about one and a half hour drive. Upon reaching the waterfall, you can park your car at the aboriginal village, with some parking fees. From the village, we have to do some jungle trekking for about 10 minutes before reaching the waterfall. There are many small huts available for rent around the waterfall. You may also camp overnight there in the small hut. Prices for camping can be negotiated with the aboriginal at there. #waterfall #trekking

This is my another visit to the Victoria Bridge near Sungai Siput, Kuala Kangsar, Perak. Victoria Bridge is a single track railway truss bridge located in Karai, Kuala Kangsar District, Perak, Malaysia. It is one of the oldest railway bridges in the country, having been constructed between December 1897 and March 1900 by the Perak Government Railway as a crossing over the Perak River to serve the local tin mining industry. The bridge was officially opened by the late Almarhum DYMM Sultan Idris Murshidul Adzam Shah I the Sultan of Perak at that time. The bridge is very long and you can peek the Perak River through the gap. Thank you for reading.
