Enjoy a Day Trip at Hotel New Awaji on Awaji Island
Currently, day trips are only available with lunch and hot springs (or just a meal). You can use the 'Spa Terrace Suigetsu', the 'Treatment Spa Komoe' (paid), and the 'Amamiya no Shizuku' at the annex Awaji Yumesenkei. Lunch is served at 'Bar Awaji'. Black soybean tea is provided at the post-bath area 'Oasis'. This time, I chose the Awaji Island Seafood Noodles for lunch. The noodles were made with seafood sourced from the local fishing port. Although the day trip-only option is no longer available, I enjoyed a luxurious time with the large public bath all to myself. This hotel is recommended for hot spring lovers, as you can enjoy the sauna, open-air bath, and the hotel's own red hot spring, Komoe Onsen.

Hotel New Awaji - Sumoto Onsen: A luxurious oasis on the coast, offering Japanese hot springs and cuisine.
"💫Hotel New Awaji, rated as the 'Best Hotel' by Japan's JTB, has always been a dream place for me. After experiencing it in person, I just want to say: it's worth it! In addition, there are two other hotels, 'Nagisa no Sho Hanagoyomi' and 'Yumoto Kan Unkai', which share this beautiful coastline and form a large resort."
"🏖Imagine that the three hotels are exclusively located on the extended coastline. You can check in at any hotel and then freely shuttle between various facilities. Whichever hotel has a vacancy can be your destination. This casual and free feeling is simply a small fortune in travel!"
"♨The hot spring experience of the hotel is definitely a highlight. There are three public hot springs, a rooftop private bath, and a foot bath, allowing you to experience ultimate relaxation in the sea breeze. I especially recommend the hot spring of 'Yumoto Kan Unkai'. The scenery and facilities there are first-class, and even the hair dryer is better than that of ordinary hotels."
"🍽As for the food, remember to book dinner in advance. There are several restaurants in the hotel to choose from, each with its own characteristics. Breakfast is a rich buffet, allowing a wonderful day to start from the taste buds."
"🛏The rooms are spacious and full of Japanese style. We chose the tatami room type with a balcony, which can directly face the sea. Unfortunately, it was cloudy that day and we couldn't appreciate the magnificent sunset🌄, but the sunrise🌅 in the early morning must be beautiful."
"🚗In terms of transportation, the hotel provides a free shuttle service, and you can enjoy convenient travel by making an appointment in advance. Whether you are departing from the hotel or returning, there is a clear timetable. Remember to check it out and don't miss it!"
"I hope my sharing can make you feel the charm of Hotel New Awaji. Here, it is not only a rest stop on the journey, but also a paradise where the soul can be nourished. When the sun shines on the sea, when the sea breeze blows through the hair, you will find that everything here is worth it!"

stayed in a detached house! The hotel allows dogs to stay and also has a barbecue set. There was also a sauna, so you could make your own fire by burning wood, so it was fresh and fun! It was really cold the day I went, so the barbecue was really cold, but in the summer, it's the sea in front of me, so I wonder if I can go swimming? Well, there was a beach nearby, so I guess I can enjoy it more in the summer.overall it awesome
Facing the sea
Nook aims to create a quiet, beautiful house away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As soon as you step into the house, you can see the boundless sea, as if living on the sea. Here, you will forget the time and slowly feel the healing power brought by the sea.
Awaji Island Homestay Highlights:
From afar, the appearance of the homestay is a modern and minimalist box shape.
On the way to the homestay's gate, when stepping on the ceramic tiles at the front door, you can look up and see the sea.
-Enter the room and stand on the floor made of Yoshino cedar wood, smelling the fragrance of cedar floating in the room, like living in a forest cabin, but outside the window is the vast and boundless sea! Relax like on vacation.
Awaji Island is the third largest island in Japan and the largest island in the Seto Inland Sea. Famous for its hot spring hotel, New Awaji Hotel is located in the prime location of Kobe, close to the major attractions in the city and is one of the best hotels in Awaji Island. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and seas and offers direct views of the sea from the room. The hotel has three biggest features: 1, the rental of bicycles at the door, convenient for travellers; 2, the hotel comes with hot springs, outdoor soup, to ease the fatigue of the trip; 3, grand dinner - authentic Kaiseki cuisine. Awaji Island is located in Kansai, and there are more locals. Tourists are relatively small and the price is relatively cheap, which is highly recommended. z
The last stop of my trip to Kansai is Awaji Island, which is also a way to experience the Kansai holiday. Awaji Island is located in the southern part of Hyogo Prefecture, in the eastern part of the Seto Inland Sea, between the Kobe and the four countries of the state, so it has become a connection point between the state and the four countries in transportation. It is the third largest island in Japan and the largest island in the Seto Inland Sea.
The famous hotel is the Spa Hotel, and this hotel is one of the best hotels in Awaji Island. Opened in 1993 and renovated in 2010, Xin Awa Road Hotel is located in the prime location of Kobe, close to the major attractions in the city.
We stayed at the hotel and the room was available for five people at the same time. It was really a big capacity! The room is facing the Pacific Ocean, facing the sea, and the appetite is wide open.
The hotel is designed to be comfortable, LCD TV/plasma TV in the room
