The Humble Jack : Cafe&Bistro คาเฟ่ในสวน
The Humble Jack is located in Suan Phueng Subdistrict, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, 16-17 kilometers from Suan Phueng District. You can pin it on Google Maps and it will be exactly right. I didn't plan to go to this shop. On this trip, I went camping in Tanaw Sri Subdistrict, Suan Phueng. On the way back, I clicked on Google Maps and found a beautiful shop.
- When I arrived at the shop, there were staff waiting to flag down cars. They were very polite. The staff will communicate with the staff in the shop via radio to tell them how many customers there are. Parking can accommodate about 10-12 cars. When you walk through the door, you will see a photo corner with camping chairs first. The walkway is decorated with cement slabs, lined up all the way to the end of the shop.
The shop is divided into 3 zones. The first zone is the shop. There will be a counter to wait for customers. There is a cake cabinet decorated with beautiful wood. There are a moderate number of tables to sit and the air is ventilated. The second zone is a garden and lawn. On the right, there will be about 9-10 tables covered with a clear roof, allowing good light and airiness. On the left is a lawn and a photo corner.
In the third zone, you have to walk down a bit. It will be an area decorated with gravel, paved with wooden planks. The open-air area is covered with shade from trees, surrounded by bamboo and coconut trees. There are 2 types of seating: a 2-story stand with 6 tables on a Japanese-style wooden floor and a camping-style table. The tables are arranged far apart to create a comfortable and not crowded atmosphere.
The highlight of the shop is the riverside canal with a stone weir that pushes water out, creating a cool and comfortable atmosphere. I personally like this area a lot.
- As for the food menu, it will be Western food such as pasta, steak, ribs, and rice dishes. I had already eaten rice, so I ordered a dark beer and cake. It was not too sweet, a little sour, priced at 130 baht. For drinks, I ordered Thai tea, which tasted normal but the tea was very fragrant, priced at 70 baht, and an Americano, available in dark and medium roast. I chose dark, priced at 75 baht, with a good amount of bitterness. Most of the food is priced in the middle and not too expensive.
- There are quite a few photo spots, each with different lighting, which is good. The photos are beautiful, and the tones are slightly adjusted. It's like being in a foreign country.
- Opening hours Fri-Sat: 09.00-22.00 Sun-Thu: 09.00-19.00 This shop, in summary, I give it 9/10. The atmosphere is nice, cool, the staff speaks politely, the price is reasonable, very suitable for relaxation, or if anyone passes by this area, I recommend you to stop by.
