It had a good mix of modern and old interior, and it managed to capture the retro chinese vibes they were looking for! To be honest, there weren't much food stalls available yet so there weren't plenty of choices available for us to try. Some food we ordered wasn't as tasty as well but we are sure it'll be better as time goes by! Pricing: Slightly higher than the usual hawker centres, but still not bad. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yes that's the name of the restaurant! One of the best hidden gems restaurant in Penang. The foods is all prepared by the owner herself. The taste is great and the environment is definitely a vibe! However, due to limited seats available usually you got to make a reservation one year in advance but trust me it is all worthwhile for the wait ❤️ And if you are an antique lover, the environment going to give you a plus point. #malaysiatrip 📍Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Design Village, Penang Visited Coffee Bean and tea leaf in Design Village while doing some shopping there and we had a good time here! The café is huge with multiple seatings and tables, great place for small talks, dates and also work on laptops! The ambiance of the coffee store was lively and happening with chatters and laughters of visiting patrons. We were immediately greeted by strong coffee aroma as soon as we stepped into the store! Service from the staff was great and friendly. Lovely coffee selections with top tier coffee beans selection. We ordered iced blended mocha and flat white which were really nice! Great place to hang out and chill while visiting Design Village.

The restaurant is huge, with multiple seatings and tables, fully air conditioned thus it is really comfortable and cozy! Love the interior decor with muji vibes tables and chairs, comfortable seats and love the big ceiling to glass transparent windows which allow ample flow of natural lighting into the store! They offer quite a huge menu with plenty of food selections like noodles served in a clay pot, cheese baked dish and also rice set! We ordered their sauna mee with clear broth and sour spicy broth! Soup was flavourful, served with generous fresh ingredients.

We tried the Creamy Pasta with Chicken Bacon which we loved. The creaminess and the taste of the bacon bits goes very well. We also sampled the Fried Chicken Chop, but this was nothing to shout about. It came served with a side of salad dressed in kewpie sesame mayonnaise, BBQ sauce and fries. The sashimi was fresh and sliced thickly which was well appreciated, and the sushi roll was good. We ordered a few bento boxes each with the unagi set that came with a bowl of udon. Very nice place for food. Variety of choices for you to chooose. Worth visiting, it’s just right beside a temple. The curry mee is nice, make sure to try it, but the parking and traffic is crazy, so if you are driving, try to car pool or take grab. Else jus haad to stuck at the jam and rounding few rounds for parking. Go there early to avoid the jam if possible! Overall, worth visiting
