Unlike the usual impression of gnocchi, the store deliberately uses exotic cooking methods to pair with handmade gnocchi, which is incredibly delicious! The portions are quite large, the gnocchi is very chewy, and the sauce is quite flavorful, which I really like. The marinated braised pork is crispy and I love it, and the beautiful tricolor egg is amazing. Overall, the dishes are very delicate yet reasonably priced. Shilin's popular ramen shop, Kakurega Ramen, is located right next to Exit 2 of the Shilin MRT station, offering a rich tonkotsu broth. Ordering is done via a vending machine, and on weekdays at noon, you'll only need to wait a little, about 5-10 minutes. I ordered the basic tonkotsu soy sauce ramen, which came with a bunch of green onions and a thick slice of char siu. The white soup was very rich, having been simmered to perfection. If the meat is not enough, you can order an extra meat platter, which is quite a good deal. The price has now increased to 220 TWD. The staff are friendly, and the overall experience is good. Next time, I might try the duck white soup ramen, which sounds intriguing. Known as the best fried chicken in the Shilin area of Taipei, Texas Mex Fried Chicken has been featured on many YouTube channels. The skin is crispy, the meat is juicy and tender, although slightly salty, the overall taste is quite outstanding and delicious. My first visit was after a hike to Tianmu Battleship Rock and the Shuiguan Trail. Hungry after the climb, fried chicken was the perfect energy booster, and Texas Mex Fried Chicken was naturally the first choice! It did not disappoint, managing to fry even the driest chicken breast to such a crispy and tender perfection, delicious. We ordered the meal for two: 3 pieces of American fried chicken + 6 crispy chicken strips + 2 small side dishes + 2 medium drinks. The sides were naturally American battered fries and creamed corn, paired with spicy fried chicken and cola, the sinful carbs were truly a joy! Also, took away custard puffs and blueberry cheesecake from Jiaxin Deli for a delicious dessert after the meal, a real treat to relieve the fatigue of the hike. Visit Teamlab Future Park in Taipei and take your kids into a dreamy world of light and shadow! Experience a super dreamy light and shadow art exhibition with your children! The colorful lights combined with the undulating terrain make you feel like you've stepped into a futuristic fantasy world. Here, you can not only draw and project your artwork interactively, but there are also large slides and hopscotch facilities for the kids to enjoy! Our favorites were the Light Ball Area and the Valley Area, filled with dynamism and fun, making it hard to leave. However, since the exhibition mainly uses projections, the lighting is relatively dim. When there are many people, be sure to pay special attention to your children's safety to avoid getting separated. Overall, this is a fantastic parent-child activity that combines art and play, recommended for families who want to get close to art and let their kids burn off some energy!

The meat at Gong Dian is top-notch. The quality of the imported beef and lamb has always been good, especially the boneless short ribs from the USA, which are my favorite. When cooked to medium-rare, the pink slices of meat are incredibly tempting, tender yet slightly chewy, and you can really taste the beef itself. American beef just suits my taste. The marbled Matsusaka pork is also highly recommended. The large slices of Matsusaka pork have a slightly crunchy texture when blanched, with no porky smell, and you can taste the freshness of the pork. Unlike the usual thin and fragile pork skin, the slightly thicker cut of Matsusaka pork is firm, crunchy, and delicious, making it my favorite this time.
