Nice
Nice is really my favourite place on the tour, staying by the sea you can watch the sunrise from your balcony in the morning and walk on the shingle beach in the evening. The neighbouring towns of Cannes and Perfume are easy to get to and each have their own character! And every town has a different beach, stone or sand, harbour or bay,I also got to experience paragliding, which was a real thrill!#beachlife #trip
Lodge Moor - WWII POW Camp
A friend and I made our way to Lodge Moor POW camp one spring. It’s not well marked or preserved in any way. However, in its hay day, it was the largest POW camp in Britain. We did some research and learned that it held about 10,000 prisoners at one point. Off all the historical places I’ve been to, I have to say, this one left the biggest impact. There was definitely a strange feeling on the site itself. Worth a visit if that history peaks your interest.

Sheffield on a Rainy Day
Average price from Liverpool to Sheffield is £30 return ticket with the 1/3 rial card. I absolutely recommend getting the Railcard especially as a traveller if you want to save some cash.
iIoften get the direct train whenever possible for a smoother journey. I recommend buying your tickets in advance and saving it on your phone to avoid collection queues or delays.
Sheffield is a nice city for a day out. There's a variety of foods/restaurants to try. Town is fairly quiet and not too busy. I like the structure as parts of it remind me of Edinburgh.
if you've never been it's worth the trip. Whether you like hiking strolling or just there for leisure ... Sheffield has a bit of everything.
Trams are fairly popular and on time to get from one end to another. I even prefer it over buses.

Yorkshire
Yorkshire is located in the northeast of England, United Kingdom, and is the largest county in the country, boasting a rich history of nearly two thousand years, known as 'God's Own County'. Yorkshire is famous for its cultural heritage, as well as being an important center for industry and agriculture. The county flower is the renowned Yorkshire white rose. King George VI of Britain once proudly stated, 'The history of York is the history of England'. The historic Yorkshire, being the largest county in Britain, was once divided into three regions: North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, and East Riding of Yorkshire. In 1974, it was reorganized into North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Humberside, and Cleveland. Most of Yorkshire's land is managed by the Yorkshire and Humberside region, but to this day, Yorkshire remains a widely recognized traditional geographical term. The city name of New York in the United States was chosen by the people who discovered the New World in memory of Yorkshire, England. Famous cities in Yorkshire include York, Leeds, Sheffield, and others.

What a great music hall. Lots of seats and the acoustic are amazing. The parking is big enough and if you are travelling by train, it only takes 5 min to get there by taxi or 30 min if you preffer to walk.
