The cafe was less than half filled and we were ushered to our seats. The interior was minimalistic with plants and abstract art to deco the place. There were 2 outdoor seats if I recalled correctly. So those with pets can choose to dine outdoors like what we saw when we went (that cute puppy!) We ordered the truffle fun-guy jaffles and miso butter prawn pasta. Their jaffles is actually pressed brioche in a waffle cast iron. You can choose a side of rocket leave salad or tapioca chips. I choosed the latter. Jaffles was ok, nothing memorable. I really dig the pasta though. Savoury with a taste of umami. The prawns were also very fresh. Reviews mentioned their coffee is good so I might go again next time! Their difference is that Yakiniku-Go has more options such as the seafood set, etc. Currently, they’re giving free beef curry sauce to add into your rice while eating your barbecued meat! Also, I personally feel like the kimchi at Yakiniku-Like is better ~

#familytrips2024 Do you know that along the 705 serangoon road, there is a small garden park that you can visit .The park is beautiful with flowers and plants .It is open to everyone to visit daily . I like the area because it is like entering a beautiful Chinese garden. There is a sheltered seating corner right in the middle of the garden .It really brightens up our mood when our family takes a walk here during the afternoon. You will feel relaxed taking a stroll here too. Our dream family destination is to visit the yuexiu park in Guangzhou China. We will like to walk again at the park to bring back our memories when we were there a few years back.

Expect a calorie overloaded menu filled with possibly diabetic dishes that may sound too greasy to eat. Surprisingly, food was not as salty & oily as what was expected. Was rather disappointed that chicken waffles were sold out as well as many other items on the menu. We ordered a platter & a mac and cheese alongside a banana milkshake & a lemonade. At the quiet corner, along 534 upper serangoon road, lies an American Diner that serves amazing food and shakes. You see the shop front with its eye catching retro American style design. Everyday you do see queues outside the diner because they serve all day breakfast Made affordable. Do expect to wait up to 30 to 45 minutes during busy times. We ordered their all star platter that consist of baked beans, scrambled eggs, toast, sausage bacon, mushroom and hash. So much for only 12.90$. Their Mac & cheese was simple but yummy for only $6.90, while the pink strawberry paddlepop milkshake cost is milky and not too sweet. Or maybe, saw the word kuay chup and wonder what it is as you may be a foreigner and have not seen this before? Recommend you this store called Ah Seng Duck Rice. It serves nice braised duck rice, big and small intestines together with rice or kuay chup. Prices are affordable - Starting from $4.50/person though you may have to be prepared to queue for at least 15 minutes usually for your food. Would advise ordering duck and big intestines as they are good, and visit off peak like 130pm :)
