#myitinerary It got me thinking - what would it be like to cross into Thailand from Satun instead of the usual Padang Besar route. So first : Satun Immigration is small and not busy on weekdays. The process was so smooth and before you knew it, you had already crossed into the Wangprachan Boundary. Yeay ! I was so delighted to see quite a number of food stalls by the boundary post selling halal local foods but then I was even more captivated by the stunning hills and lush greenery that I missed my chance to grab a bite. Sigh ! Soon after, my local driver arrived and we embarked on the three-hour journey from Satun to Hatyai. Many staff spot little English, but we were still able to communicate orders easily and with success.
