Which city in Vietnam is the coldest? It has to be Sapa. We took an overnight bus from Hanoi at 11 PM to arrive in Sapa in the morning and checked into a hotel. Then, we rented a motorbike to find some Vietnamese food and explore the city. There are cafes and villages to visit. The weather here is great with a sea of clouds and it's cold. The next day, we went up to the top of Fansipan Mountain. It was covered in white fog, making it impossible to see the peak. We traveled in October, so the terraced fields had already been harvested, and we didn't see the rice plants. If you visit at the end of September, you might see the golden rice fields.

How my Sapa trip went

Unfortunately Sapa has became a touristy spot so do expect for alot of things to be expensive. The views were phenomenal and still had some existing authenticity to it. We easily clocked 10k steps each day and there were elevated walkways everywhere we went which was a very good workout. Wouldn't really recommend as it has become quite expensive. View at the fansipan peak was good too but we had altitude sickness

Although it has a wide view, it is not soundproof at all. We could hear the sound of the room next door very clearly. The amenities in the room are complete. The hot water and strong water pressure are good. The tissue paper here is really thick and soft. The pillows are very soft and not very soft. The bed is soft and comfortable. There are many power outlets. Not far from the city center. It is only a 5-minute walk from the front of the Sun Plaza building. It is not chaotic and you have to honk your horn. If anyone comes to Sapa, another place that everyone must come to is Moana Sapa. This is a cafe that has a landmark specifically for taking pictures. Those who love taking pictures must not miss it. I guarantee that you will definitely get hundreds of pictures back. We came at noon, which is not recommended because the sun is a bit too strong.
