Port Aventura Hotel Great option to stay if you want to visit Port Aventura amusement park. Staying for the night at the hotel will grant you access to the park on both days, the check-in and the check-out. Rooms are clean and comfortable, for a good rest after spending the day at the park. The swimming pool is also amazing, big and beautiful, it is an adventure in itself. Only issue is the service: you can feel that the staff do their best, however during peak season, they are so busy that for sure you will have to line up in order to get anything done. They are moving ahead and making moves for automatic self-service processes: like self- check out, but still is not enough. PortAdventure Theme Park, Salou Highlights - Shambhala Rating 5/5 We spent the day at the theme park, a group of 5 adults and our baby. We over all had a good day, there was so much to do that we could not visit everything. I would recommend coming here, though if possible I would say 2 or 3 days ia best to get the full experience. We missed out on all of the shows and most of the rides, purely because the park is so large you simply can not get around to everything in a day. The rides we went on where good, the best being the Shambhala. As someone who has visited many theme parks and been on many rides, I can say with certainty that the Shambhala is one of the best rides I have been on to date. Alongside the rides, there are many shops, shows and areas to relax, with picturesque waterfalls and features throughout. #portadventura #spaintravel #spain

Port Aventura World is the biggest amusement park in Spain and among the biggest in Europe also. It offers many attractions for every kind of amusement park lovers. There are many extremely speedy trains, wet attractions, wheels, etc. The park is tematicly divided on few zones including Polynesia, Wild West, Mexico and Mediterranean. A nice weekend in March, with excellent food and a quiet environment. Can walk in the beach without too much cold and have the option to spend two wonderful days at Port Aventura resort. The surroundings are safe and we can park the car easily in the center of the village. Different dining options and also nice neighbourhoods to visit after a day in the theme park

Decided to stay at 4R Playa Park for the first time when visiting Salou, hotel is 3* but don’t let this put you off as it is absolutely amazing! Upon entering and checking in, the process was super smooth and staff were very professional and friendly. The room was super clean and had a balcony with a lovely view. Room had everything needed and was cleaned daily by the staff, I went with the breakfast included option and was not disappointed, so much to choose from, don’t think I tried everything in the week I was there but what I did eat was delicious and fresh. Staff at reception were super helpful and happy to help with any query. The hotel offers entertainment every night and has a vast range to offer. A short trip to Port Aventura theme park is always a great choice for fun rides and sunny days. And the best you can do is to stay at least for one night in one of the hotels at the park. This way you can enjoy the rides at the park without the rush of only being there for 1 day. Also, you can chill at the swimming pool of the hotel any time you feel like you need it. Hotel Port Aventura is a wonderful choice: it is inside the park and allows you to walk everywhere from there. The great swimming pool is accessible from the rooms and you can swim around exploring the different parts of it. If you stay the night, the hotel reservation includes tickets for both the check-in and the check-out day as well, so you can enjoy the park worry-free. Be aware though that the luggage cloakroom is not free, so be ready to pay to leave your luggage there, at least on the check-out day. #hotelstaycation

Price per Person - £25- €30 Rating - 5☆ We visited this restaraunt on our last night of our trip to Salou. Wow. What a meal. This was THE best curry we have ever had. There is a variety of spices/heats to suit most palets, and they do have a small childrens menu also. This meal was simply the best meal we have had during our stay. The portions were brilliant, the flavour was outstanding and the service was fantastic. I would 100% recommend this place to eat. SexyCat, Salou Bar and restaraunt based on the front strip of Salou. Here, the food and drinks are reasonably priced, except if you want buy bottles. Jagèr per bottle is around €95 The design is very niche, and the bathroom is even finished to a magnificent standard. The staff were well spoken and respectful. 3 Star rated hotel Overall this hotel is not bad for a family vacation, though not the best. Food served often is cold, and is much the same on a daily basis. The place as a hole is not designed to hold or entertain its capacity. The queues for a drink are long, as is food. The pool bar opens at 11.30am but during our stay has not opened before 12. For all inclusive, you are very limited. You can only get drinks from the bar served by staff, which are again limited. You can only get fruit juice on a morning with breakfast, for example. Or can only get cocktails, tea/coffee and spirits from the main bar. The quality is not the best either, with run down areas all around. The flooring is damaged across areas such as hall ways, around pool areas and lobbies. The sink in our room was blocked, and the door did not close properly. Our bed sheets were not clean, and the room was dusty in corners on arrival. The lift is hit and miss. The staff however were brilliant and were quick to clear tables, clean areas after use in the main lobby and generally were pleasant. Entertainment every night was pretty decent and did have some great acts, like Queen tribute, burlesque, and magacians. Salou has so far been a beautiful place to visit for vacation. All areas are stunning, with features on round abouts, all along the beach fronts and walk ways, alongside restraunts with plenty to offer. 1st time travelling here, and so far I am pleased with the cleanliness and accessibility of the area we are staying in.
