Portaventura pleasure
PortAdventure Theme Park, Salou
Highlights - Shambhala
Rating 5/5
We spent the day at the theme park, a group of 5 adults and our baby. We over all had a good day, there was so much to do that we could not visit everything.
I would recommend coming here, though if possible I would say 2 or 3 days ia best to get the full experience. We missed out on all of the shows and most of the rides, purely because the park is so large you simply can not get around to everything in a day.
The rides we went on where good, the best being the Shambhala. As someone who has visited many theme parks and been on many rides, I can say with certainty that the Shambhala is one of the best rides I have been on to date.
Alongside the rides, there are many shops, shows and areas to relax, with picturesque waterfalls and features throughout. #portadventura #spaintravel #spain

Jagèr per bottle is around €95
The design is very niche, and the bathroom is even finished to a magnificent standard. The staff were well spoken and respectful.

Emperor Caesar ascended, one of the earliest Roman relics on the Iberian Peninsula
Explore Tarragona, this hidden historical treasure in the northeastern corner of Spain, is a wonderful journey through time! 🌟 Not only is it a beautiful seaside city, but it is also a World Heritage site with a rich Roman historical heritage. In this guide, I will take you to uncover the most heart-stirring secrets of Tarragona, let us embark on this historical journey together! Although the day I went was cloudy, I could imagine the beautiful scenery when the sky is clear!
🏛️ First, what we absolutely cannot miss is the Roman ruins of Tarragona. Imagine walking through the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheater, where you can almost hear the shouts of ancient gladiators and the cheers of the audience. This place was once a witness to the glorious culture of the Roman Empire, and now, it is an open history book, waiting for us to read.
🌉 Don't forget to visit the ancient bridge of the Ferreres brothers (Puente de les Ferreres), also known as the Devil's Bridge. This magnificent ancient Roman aqueduct bridge spans the picturesque countryside and is a testament to the great engineering skills of the Romans. Here, the best photo spot is at sunset.
🏰 Next, let's stroll to the old town of Tarragona, where the narrow streets and hidden alleys are filled with medieval atmosphere. Every stone, every building, is telling its own story. Why not find an authentic Spanish restaurant here and taste the genuine Tapas and Seafood Paella, making cuisine also a part of your travel.
🌊 Finally, don't forget to relax on the beaches of Tarragona. The golden sands and clear waters are the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Here, you can completely relax, let the sea breeze brush over your face, taking away all worries.
In Tarragona, every step is full of surprises. Whether it's the exploration of history or the appreciation of natural beauty, this place can satisfy you. So, put on your adventure shoes, bring your curiosity, the beauty of Tarragona is waiting for you to discover! ✨🌍

Spain Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
I have to say that picking up a pretty good level of Spanish, by myself, without any classes, whilst I was travelling through Latin America, is definitely one of the travel moments I’m most proud of.
With only the help of my trusty Lonely Planet phrasebook, I made a real and concerted effort to pick up this local language day in, day out, while I was travelling in this incredible part of the world #themepark
I really this atmosphere beautiful attraction and lovely view. #water #spain #Love couple 🥰#spain
Casa Navàs Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
A modernist dream in Reus
About one hour drive south from Barcelona, the small city of Reus, is a cradle for modernist architecture.
This city is not only the birthplace of the genius Antoni Gaudí, but it also has Europe’s most stunning interior of a modernist building: Casa Navàs.
Designed by Lluis Domenech i Montaner, one of the most prominent architects of the time - with Gaudí’s permission of course - this monument boasts the largest amount of colored stain glass all over European modernist artworks.
Casa Navàs is located in the central square of Reus, walking distance from the train station or most of parking spaces in town. It can be visited through a guided tour that lasts about 1 hour.
In this tour you will learn about Reus’ industrial past and the bourgeois family who used to own this house. It is also a great experience to understand the inspiration behind its rich decoration as well as the rational usage of architectural elements and glass in order to allow for natural light to come into the house.
