Since we book for eHailing (Didi), we had to go up to Departure Hall as the Arrival Hall only for Taxi and Bus. Then go to the exit of Departure Hall where Didi will be waiting. 19:30 Check In at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kunming Guandu. We choose this hotel as it was not only nice and clean but it is walking distance to Kunming Railway Station. 20:30 Dinner at Shuncheng Street. This is a halal food haven that surely fulfill the hungry stomach. From bakery, hotpot, barbeque,snack to even grocery, it surely not only will tantalising your taste bud but a place to restock your food for long journey to Lijiang. Day 2 - Next destination i.e. Lijiang 08:00 Upon check out, we decided to walk to Kunming Railway Station. It took about 15minutes walk and we had a wonderful walk passing park and tunnel. Once reached Kunming Railway Station, it was so crowded and we had to find the correct door in the sea of people. 10:40 The journey from Kunming to Lijiang took about 4.5hours by train. 15:15 Once reached Lijiang Railway Station, we managed to capture the glimpse of Yulong Mountain (Might be 😅).
