There you will find one of the most beautiful white and incredibly fine sands on the island, beautiful rows of casuarina trees and beyond the Indian temple the first beautiful hotels, and therefore some coconut trees. We were staying north of Trou d'Eau Douce next to Silver Beach and Friday Attitude (small but nice). From Friday, following the beach towards the North, after 200m you pass a small cape and beyond there is a sort of half-moon bay delimited by a small rock jetty where people fish. At this place just before the pier, dive and you will be amazed: there is a magnificent garden of multicolored coral and full of equally colorful fish, all between only 0.5 and 1m deep. Before the Friday attitude the funds are less pretty, but deeper we saw Ourites (octopuses) and an enormous and placid barracuda with which we swam for quite a long time. On the other hand, it is better to avoid swimming at Trou d'Eau Douce itself, in front of the Tropical attitude, because already there are not really any beaches and then there is a pass leading offshore where my local cousins have seen sharks in the past.

I recently stayed at the Crystal Beach Radisson Blu and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service from the moment we arrived. The staff, especially Miss Vanshika, made my family feel welcome and looked after. Check-in was smooth and efficient. She was both professional and friendly. Our room was extremely comfortable. The restaurant was a highlight, with Mr. Ram, Nihal, and their team ensuring perfection. Special thanks to Miss Vanshika, Mr. Ram, Mr. Nihal, and the housekeeping staff for their superb hospitality. Such dedication in a team is truly rare.

This hotel stands out for numerous reasons. It exudes elegance in true Mauritian fashion and maintains a high standard of cleanliness and tranquility. The rooms receive impeccable daily upkeep, with heartfelt gratitude owed to Ajay, who not only kept spaces spotless but enhanced our luxurious experience. For instance: 1. When the hairdryer malfunctioned, we informed the reception, and found a new one installed upon our return. 2. Ajay beautifully prepared the room for my wife's birthday celebration, making it extra special. The hotel's location is ideal, nestled in a stunning, secluded bay. The hotel staff deserve the highest commendation. Upon arrival, the reception team guides guests seamlessly through the premises, highlighting attractions and available services, all done in a gracious and low-key manner. The restaurant plays soft, soothing music, and dishes are presented with elegance, reflecting a fine dining standard. The varied all-inclusive menu offers a range of sophisticated choices to suit every taste, along with a daily special dinner menu crafted by the chef. Much appreciation goes to Daren, Amar, and Sylvana. The hotel ambiance is quiet and refined. The lobby bar features a varied drink selection crafted by skilled bartenders. The beach receives daily cleaning, complimented by night security. The infinity pool, offering stunning views, is also tidied early each morning. The beach bar provides friendly service, with Beach Boy Thierry ensuring guest satisfaction. The hotel retails luxury cigars, though I'm uncertain of their quality. The only downside for me is the lack of designated smoking areas. As a non-smoker, I'd rather not be exposed to smoke.

I received a warm welcome, and the room was stunningly adorned for my daughter's birthday (check the attached photo). Huge thanks to Mrs. Jayshree for her creativity and meticulous effort—the decorations were unforgettable, and my daughter loved them. The room was perfectly situated, providing easy access to the pool and restaurant, ideal for my pregnant wife and daughter. A big thanks to Mr. Avinash, Ravi, and Iqbal for arranging a ground-floor room for us. The staff took exceptional care of us, ensuring our needs were consistently met by checking in frequently. The kids club was fantastic—my daughter was always well looked after, with plenty of fun activities to keep her happily occupied all day. The food was delicious, and we are grateful to Mr. Avinash Seedheeyan for making sure we received outstanding service at the restaurant. Ashfaq was also remarkably diligent, attentive, and quick to address all our requests. We celebrated my daughter's birthday at the restaurant, and thanks to Pastry Chef Mr. Ruben for the delightful cake—she truly cherished it, making her day extra special. As our stay was ending, Jayshree, Simi, and Iqbal kindly extended our stay for a few hours so my daughter could continue enjoying herself. We departed with lots of wonderful memories and photos, eagerly anticipating a return visit soon.

We truly had an amazing experience throughout our visit. The folks at the entrance bar were exceptional — two gentlemen and a lady were notably friendly, welcoming, and ever prepared to assist. Sadly, we can't remember their names, but they genuinely made us feel at ease right from our arrival. Their inviting demeanor set a wonderful mood for the duration of our stay. We appreciate the excellent hospitality — we're sure to return.

C Mauritius is an excellent all-inclusive resort. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to departure. They were happy, smiling, and always had a "can do" attitude, going above and beyond for anything you needed. The resort was very clean, as was the room—nothing to fault. The food was fresh, tasty, and plentiful throughout the day, with a wide variety to choose from, catering to everyone. I highly recommend C Mauritius and will definitely return. The complimentary airport shuttle is a great perk. Many thanks to all the staff at C Mauritius for a wonderful and memorable stay.

#hellohalloween #seascapes The beach is very nice. Unfortunately there is very little shade, no sunbeds or chairs and no public beach restaurants. I could probably deal with that but be aware - at this time June we have had continuous strong winds, long periods of rain and need warm clothing in the evenings. The worst weather I have ever had on a foreign holiday. If considering Mauritius at this time of year, go to the West of the island. Yesterday Flic en Flaq was excellent and the 10 day forecast continuously shows less rain, higher temperatures and less rainfall than the east.

I've just come back from Mauritius and stayed at Veranda Palmar Hotel. Mauritius truly surpassed my expectations, with its stunning scenery and amiable residents. Veranda Palmar is positioned by a lengthy white beach perfect for strolls, with calm waters for swimming and soft sand. Walking to the hotel's left offered the best views. We booked a beachfront comfort room, which was spacious and cleaned daily. The breakfast was diverse, featuring fresh eggs cooked to order, fresh bread, pastries, and fruits. Birds fly around the tables, adding charm to the setting—we actually enjoyed watching them. We indulged in a hot stone massage at the spa, which was very enjoyable and soothing. All the staff were approachable and friendly. We hired private taxi drivers to explore the island through Marine from Summer Times, with our driver Yougle taking us to the north and south. He was very knowledgeable, and we learned about the island's history en route to various sites. I would absolutely return to Mauritius and this hotel—huge thanks to all the staff!

My husband and I relished two delightful weeks at this destination. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome with rejuvenating drinks and lunch set the tone for our stay. Special thanks to Mr Singh, who guided us to our room and regularly checked to ensure everything was satisfactory. I've never visited a place where the staff, like those at Ambre, were so welcoming and attentive. We savored amazing meals at Dolce Vita, and kudos to Sanjive for his excellent care. Anisha at the main buffet restaurant, Indigo, was wonderful and engaging too! La Plage is definitely recommended. We didn't enjoy the seafood buffet, but the manager made sure to compensate for it when we mentioned it. The 6 island tour offered by Chris at the resort is also a must-do. It was an entertaining day with Joy, our boat driver, who was both fun and supportive. Plus, the rum was shared generously. An extra perk was that the tour was half the price compared to the same one from our holiday company! We've never felt the urge to return to a vacation spot, but my husband and I are already plotting our next visit back.

We spent our final days on the island at this hotel and can simply say it was impeccable. The location was unbeatable, with our ground floor room mere meters from the beach. The hotel's location was lovely. We took taxis to explore, embarking on two excursions—markets and shopping. The scenery was wonderful, especially the stunning waterfalls. In the lounge, lobby, and dining area, the vibe wasn't overly crowded. We often relaxed in the lounge and dining area with a sea view, which became our favorite spot. The room service and accommodation were outstanding, very clean throughout. The staff were incredibly kind and eager to assist. They decorated the room for my daughter's birthday—a fantastic surprise that delighted her. Our room remained spotless throughout our stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend Residence Hotel in Mauritius if the budget permits.

Overall, we enjoyed the Ambre, though some areas needed improvement. We received a warm welcome with a nice cocktail and a refreshing towel. Our room wasn't ready (which was fine), but our luggage was taken, and we dined at the buffet. During our two-week stay, meals were well-cooked and diverse. The hotel offers two a la carte restaurants: Italian and seafood, both requiring bookings via a QR code (posted around the hotel). We found them decent but nothing outstanding. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and dedicated. Our garden view room was as expected since we didn't opt for extra supplements. Although spacious with all necessities, it was dull and tired-looking. The balcony was one of the smallest I've seen. General cleanliness was lacking throughout the hotel—the reception floor shone, but the buffet, toilets, and corridors needed attention. There seemed to be a shortage of staff; bar service and getting drinks in the restaurant were friendly but very slow. We used the hotel taxi service for two trips. Although probably not the cheapest choice, the service was excellent both times, and the organizer was very professional. In summary, Ambre had both strengths and weaknesses, but the negative aspects stand out. I'd like to recommend it, but unfortunately, I can't.

OMG, where to begin? From the moment we stepped out of the taxi upon arrival, everything was flawless. The scenery instantly made me pause in awe. We used the amenities to change while waiting for our room, which was immaculate. The bars were fantastic, and the staff ensured our glasses were always filled, as did the beach crew. I loved catching the football games at the H&H bar. We dined twice at Dolce Vita, the onsite Italian spot. The complimentary beach activities were great, and we also booked some paid water activities. We experienced a medical emergency, and the staff were amazing at arranging a taxi to a clinic an hour away. Upon our return, they were wonderfully supportive. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and polite, with special thanks to Rayad, Sandeep, Sheila, Hevin, Yuvish, Michael, Luv, Rhownuck, Arvin, Rose, Soobhas, Raksha, Ram, and Mr. Singh. The cuisine at Indigo restaurant was exceptional, with the live cooking stations being a highlight. We lunched at La Plage regularly. We arranged an intimate steak night by the pool at an extra charge, and let's just say, date nights will never be the same again.

We enjoyed a fantastic family vacation. Both the pool and beach were splendid, and the water park was an added perk, providing enjoyment for the whole family. The diverse themed buffets each night brought variety, and the lunch food at the beach bar was delicious. Sam was incredible; he quickly resolved an initial issue with our room, going beyond expectations to ensure a smooth stay. He also excelled in organizing our excursions, attentively listening to our ideas and arranging taxis with a clear plan. Sean at the bar deserves mention as well; despite working hard, he always managed to offer a friendly greeting and thoughtfully delivered our drinks without prompting. The entertainment and water park staff were excellent with our kids. We highly recommend making use of the water sports included in the all-inclusive option. We also booked a 5 island cruise with them, which was amazing and a highlight of our holiday. Overall, we had a brilliant stay; exploring the beautiful Mauritius was delightful, and the hotel proved to be an excellent choice for our family.

The towel decorations were outstanding, especially engaging for children. The buffet offered a wide array of options to choose from. A unique aspect was finding a corner of Mauritian food, which delighted us. The manager was excellent, greeting us upon arrival and again at checkout. Nav, the porter, was remarkable, always eager to assist us without hesitation. Additionally, he was very friendly, chatting with us as if we had known each other for ages. This stunning hotel is right by the beach and offers breathtaking views. The rooms are spacious， featuring balconies and large bathrooms with a tub， a massive shower， and a walk-in closet. Our week-long stay was absolutely flawless. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are warm and accommodating; both the reception team and evening butler go out of their way to assist with anything you need. We mostly dined at the hotel restaurant， which offers a different buffet theme each night with plenty of choices. The restaurant staff and chefs were very accommodating of my son's allergy. The Plantation restaurant was excellent as well， with a good menu and service. The hotel provides complimentary water sports， including a glass-bottom boat and snorkeling， abundant with sea life and in clear waters， making for an incredible experience. The hotel also supplies very comfortable loungers and free water stations with beach towels by the pool and across the beach—sometimes even offering free iced juice treats. There are ample water supplies in your room， along with tea and coffee. I highly recommend this fantastic hotel and will certainly return soon!
