Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is a waterfall with a height of about 120 meters. This waterfall is bordered by Lumajang Regency and Malang Regency, East Java Province.Tumpak Sewu Waterfall has a flow of water that resembles a curtain so it is included in the Tiered waterfall type. The location of this waterfall is in Sidomulyo Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency.
TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL : LUMAJANG
Talking about natural beauty, Lumajang Regency is the place to be. In addition to having a country above the clouds, Lumajang Regency also has natural waterfalls whose beauty is not inferior to Niagara Falls in America. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is the name. The popularity of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall as Niagara in East Java is not without reason. The wide flow of this waterfall reminds people of Niagara Waterfall. The location of these two waterfalls is also on the border. The difference is, Niagara is on the border between the United States and Canada. However, judging from the water discharge, it is very different. The beauty of the very beautiful Tumpak Sewu Waterfall invites both domestic and foreign tourists who want to see the Indonesian version of Niagara Falls firsthand. With so many tourists coming, the Lumajang Police also always comes to the location to provide a sense of security and calm for tourists. Lumajang Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Muhammad Arsal Sabhan said, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is indeed very stunning in its beauty. No wonder so many tourists come. He also said that he would help make the Tumpak Sewu or Niagara tourism object of Indonesia always safe and conducive. Not only that, he will also help so that the Tumpak Sewu tourist attraction can be increasingly known both locally and abroad. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall or also called Coban Sewu is a waterfall with a height of about 120 meters which is the most beautiful waterfall on the islands of Java and Indonesia. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall has a unique formation because it has a water flow that widens like a curtain so it is included in the Tiered waterfall type. The location of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is in a steep valley with an elevation of 500 meters above sea level. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is formed in the flow of the Glidih River which has its head on Mount Semeru.

Spectacular Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
People often go to Tumpak Sewu, and just see The Waterfall from View Point at abobe.
Don’t stay at the overlook too long, because you still have to see the waterfall from below! The best lighting for this is early in the morning before the sun gets high, otherwise taking the right photos can be more of a challenge.
Head down the path for about 20 minutes to reach the bottom of the ravine. The path is mostly bamboo steps with bamboo railings, and it’s a little sketchy in spots, but nothing too terrible. Just proceed carefully.
Once you reach the bottom of the ravine, you’re only a 5-10 minute walk away from the main event. The towering walls on either side of the ravine let you know how tiny you are, and how epic things are about to get.
There’s one shallow stream to cross, with a small bridge covering part of it. Cross the bridge, round the corner, and prepare to have your mind blown by the epic sight! This is when the scale hits you for the first time and you can’t help but feel ant-like.
There are a lot of good photo spots next to the waterfall, but be aware that the rocks are very slippery and any electronics you bring within 100 yards of the falls WILL get soaked.
I’d recommend bringing a dry bag to keep your camera, drone, or other electronics safe between photo sessions here.
Enjoy and be safe!

Air Terjun Kapas Biru Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
Captivating Moments at Kapas Biru Waterfall
Cool breeze and the scent of nature welcomed us as we entered the realm of Kapas Biru Waterfall. Situated far from the city's hustle, this waterfall is a natural secret waiting to be unveiled. Clear springs meandered through rocky riverbeds, forming a breathtaking sight.
We approached the waterfall, and with each step, the sound of splashing water grew deeper. The rush of the waterfall shattered the forest's tranquility, creating a soothing symphony of nature. Under the sunlight, the falling water reflected light, creating a glistening cascade like crystal dew, offering a view from another world.
As we reached the waterfall's pool, we couldn't resist immersing ourselves in the cool water. Its chill refreshed us, kindling the spirit of adventure within. There, we spent time splashing, laughing, and feeling the wonders of the natural surroundings.
Kapas Biru Waterfall isn't just a tourist spot, but a place where we connected with nature and found serenity in its simple beauty. The moments we experienced here will forever be cherished memories, reminding us of the unparalleled wonders of nature.

Indonesia's another hidden paradise, the Blue Cotton Waterfall
Tips: Everyone must bring good anti-slip stream trekking shoes!
Instead of visiting the Sewu Waterfall in Indonesia, go directly to the Blue Cotton Waterfall! The Sewu Waterfall, p2 is already the most beautiful scenery there.
There's no need to pursue the must-visit spots where you can take great photos right away. It's not necessary to go down and 'get drenched'.
The whole process is very steep, with simple iron railings that are shaky, and some of the iron stepping boards are loose.
You will also pass a place where the water flows very fast. Even knee-high rain boot covers can't keep the water out. You must wear stream trekking shoes.
Once you get down, your phone and eyes are all water, you can't see clearly, remember to buy a waterproof phone case.
I personally think it's a rather comfortable place although it's just a photo spot promoting a relaxed and easy-going vibe for taking pictures.
Our guide took us there without the need to pay extra for chairs.

A must-see blue flame in this lifetime
Here is a nanny-level guide to the itinerary of the Indonesian Ijen Volcano:
🌋Itinerary
1️⃣0:00 Depart from the hotel🏨, the journey is far, please go to bed early the night before💤.
2️⃣2:00 Arrive at the foot of the mountain🌋, receive the gas mask😷 and goggles🥽 distributed by the guide, organize your backpack🎒, and go lightly.
(On the way up the mountain, you can choose to ride the local human-powered cart "Lamborghini" at any time, the one-way price is about 500💰, of course, the closer to the end, the cheaper.)
3️⃣Around 4:30 to reach the top, the time varies from person to person.
🌋Check-in points
1️⃣Tree rights: Walk inside the mountain top⛰️ to see tree branches of different sizes, those who are queuing are basically excellent 📷positions
2️⃣Small platform: The small platform under the tree rights, this place is very photogenic, you can take pictures of the volcano🌋 and sulfuric acid lake
3️⃣Right side of the summit: Here you can see the sea of clouds☁️ and the mountain top⛰️
💼Recommended items to bring: Gas mask😷, goggles👓, wet wipes🧻, tissues, Snickers, drinking water
❗️ If you want to go down to the volcanic lake to see the blue fire, it is best to choose a protective mask with eye mask, because sulfur is very irritating to the eyes.
wonderful banyuwangi
Ijen Resort and Villas is a materialization of a dream. A long time dream which stayed in mind during some decades.
The First Inspiration
The story of Ijen Crater was heard for the first time from an old uncle who happened to be sent there joining forced workersīó by the japanese army in the second world war period. It was in his childhood time.
The Solitary Crater, it is so called because of its position, alone out of reach and out of nowhere. It sounded rather intriguing. The old uncle said that it took the whole day walk to cross through the dark jungle, to arrive in a vast open plain area where they had to spend the night before hiking up the mountain on the next day. And the crater was the only interest because it spit out large quantity of sulfur.

Indonesia - mount Ijen
I finally got the chance to visit this active volcano and believe it or not it’s one of the WORLD’s MUST-SEE VOLCANOES because apparently this Ijen Volcano Crater has the world’s largest acidic volcanic crater lake which, the water is actually in UNIQUE turquoise color! Imagine how cool is that! THIS TIME, We are here for the sole purpose of visiting this crater because this turquoise colored-lake within the crater is quite famous for it’s color and the local miners normally call it the Kawah Ijen. This crater is located right on top of the Mount Ijen where you have to hike 3km from the bottom starting all the way up taking the one way narrow and steep trail to reach the top. For a novice like me i would say this is quite challenging to walk and climb in the dark with a torchlight that provides barely enough visibility to see what’s coming your way in a few meters.
While hiking and climbing up you can see a lot of old sulfur miners ( some barefooted ) marathon-ing using the same trail carrying a basket each as if racing with each other to reach the top to dig minerals, sulfurs or whatsoever they have to dig to sell it for money, leaving us behind staggering and struggling to make each step forward in reaching the same point of mountain. This is too exhausting but worth the effort when you can start smelling something like the rotting eggs and food as you climb higher because it means that you’re about to reach your destination, the GREEN LAKE!

Coban Sewu Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
I took the photo of my life at the Sewu waterfall in Indonesia🪨|||
Indonesia Sewu waterfall
📌Tips:
1⃣️Shoes👟: You must wear river tracing shoes‼️ They are anti-slip and can step on water, don't wear slippers, it's too dangerous!
2⃣️Clothes👔: It is recommended to wear quick-drying sportswear, if you are afraid of sunburn, you can wear a jacket, the ultraviolet rays are quite strong, you can take it off for photos (the clothes are easy to get dirty, the kind that can't be washed off, or torn, don't wear expensive ones😂)
3⃣️Equipment: Sun hat or fisherman hat, sunglasses, trekking poles, sports gloves, sun protection mask, backpack, CCD camera📷
Difficulty:🌟🌟🌟🌟
Route✏️:
Go straight to the bottom of the waterfall➡️Waterfall internet celebrity photo spot➡️Natural stream pool (can swim)➡️Small water curtain pool➡️Return
Cost💰:
I joined a group for four days and three nights, the whole journey was arranged by the driver and guide clearly, and it includes the entrance ticket🎫
Local customs👨🏽🦱:
The locals I met were really great, I think everyone is very enthusiastic❤️🔥 They lead you sincerely, and they are very patient, they welcome us very much👏, they are all too simple and kind😘
(The guide knows where to take good photos, speaks English and can lead, my guide will help me take photos, and is very enthusiastic❤️🔥, not perfunctory at all, so we will give a little tip at the end, everyone still needs to pay more attention to the dangerous places on the edge of the stone⚠️
There are some stairs that are quite steep and vertical when going down, but there are basically railings, just hold on and walk slowly, don't rush, I personally think it's okay to go down, it's a bit tiring to come up)
Mt Bromo Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
🌋East Java is amazingly beautiful! 🇮🇩
I enjoyed every bit of this adventure - it was affordable, and the views were absolutely worth the hikes and early starts.
Day 1:
• Madakaripura Waterfall
Stay: Bromo Terrace Hotel & Resto
Eat: Bawangan Bromo Hotel & Resto
Day 2: (started our day at 2.30am)
• Sunrise point at King Kong Hill (only jeeps can access the roads there, and you get some cool pics as well)
• Hike Mt. Bromo
Stay: Urbanview B Syariah Lumajang
Day 3:
• Tumpaksewu Waterfall
• Goa Tetes Cave
Stay: ljen View Hotel & Resort
Day 4: (started our day at 11.30pm the PREVIOUS day, slept at 6pm to make it to ljen before sunrise)
• Hike Mt. Ijen - there's the option to hike down to see a naturally occuring blue fire, but there were too many people on that day, making the narrow path down quite dangerous. We opted to climb a little higher to catch the sunrise instead - it was so beautiful and serene with most of the crowd trying to catch the blue fire.

The first travel destination selected by 'Flowers and Youth' is so beautiful
I really love the 'Big Dipper' theme of the fifth season of 'Flowers and Youth'
I even subscribed to the VIP membership and rewatched the updates several times
From Saudi Arabia, to Croatia, to Iceland, I've been crazily enticed
Who would have thought that the non-stop spin-off would take us to Indonesia to climb volcanoes
Although this time we're missing the broken-hearted Wang Anyu and the adorable Hu Xianxu
It's a pity that the stunning Dilraba didn't come
But we can see the electronic music Dora and Li Li again!
‼️‼️
I really want to recommend this unrealistically beautiful volcano to everyone
This is the cover image of Indonesia in 'Lonely Planet'
Watching a volcanic sunrise under the stars is truly a life list!
🏔Location: Bromo Volcano (Mount Bromo)
Mount Bromo
📌Major transportation: Surabaya Airport in Indonesia
🚗Transportation: About 3-4 hours drive from Surabaya
Usually depart at midnight and arrive at the viewing platform around 4 am to wait for the sunrise
🌈2024 Latest Guide to Bromo Volcano
1️⃣It is currently the rainy season in Indonesia, and whether you can see the volcano is a gamble, but if you're lucky, you'll see a dreamy volcanic sunrise with mist and clouds
2️⃣It's very cold while waiting for the sunrise at the viewing platform, so wear a warm jacket
3️⃣If you're only visiting Bromo, you can book a one-day chartered car or group tour, and the whole transportation connection is very smooth, with most classic routes being a 3-day and 2-night double volcano + waterfall itinerary
4️⃣After watching the sunrise at the viewing platform, people usually go directly to the top of the volcano crater, where the volcanic ash is heavy, you can choose to ride a horse to cover most of the distance, or you can walk the whole way
🔥Volcano outfit: Jacket + Columbia hiking shoes
How to Play in Surabaya, Indonesia for 4 Days and 3 Nights (With Bromo Itinerary)
A one-sentence summary: You will never be disappointed by the Bromo Volcano🌋
The volcano and waterfall tour in Surabaya, Indonesia is getting more and more popular.
I took some time off for a vacation and also did a round of special forces training (Fresh itinerary from early August)
⭐See the detailed 4-day and 3-night itinerary and accommodation arrangements in the picture⭐
👌🏻If you have any questions about the itinerary and attractions, see you in the comments section👌🏻
✨Key Points✨
1. The journey is long, mostly starting at dawn, if you can, please be sure to hire a car and a leader, as it's very tiring and you might not come a second time.
2. Climbing the mountain is the easiest part of the trip, but there is a lot of dust on the way, and without a mask, your nose will definitely be full of dust, as will your shoes.
3. The guide and leader are very important, directly determining the quality of the trip (more on this later).
4. If it's your first time, don't worry too much about the camera position, the guide will take you to places where you can take beautiful photos.
5. The cost for a 4-day and 3-night trip for two people is only about 1700 per person, and it's even cheaper with more people (we also asked to add a few less popular attractions, a good driver will help you consider the time to make sure you can visit them).
6. You'll need to go out to eat, buy fruit, rent clothes if it's cold, a trusted guide and driver can help you with all of this
Bromo Volcano, the place on earth that most resembles the moon, with a guide attached
What kind of experience is it to fulfill the dream of reaching the scenery seen in science magazines as a child?
This is the cover of Lonely Planet, from where you can see Bromo (p6), Semeru, Batok (p2) three volcanoes. East Java Tengger Volcano Group, the volcanic cone is shrouded in light clouds and thick smoke, the epic desolation brings you close to the end of the world. We set off from Bali, flew to Surabaya in the afternoon, and arrived at the small town of Pangyue Bromo Volcano after about 5 hours by car.
Early morning: Depart for the best viewing point (Figure 1), set off at four in the morning, the guide took us a shortcut - a small road stepped out of the mountain, except for a bit steep, there are no shortcomings, about 5 minutes can reach the top of the mountain, the overall climbing difficulty is low, can be said to be suitable for all ages. There are quite a few homestays at the starting point of climbing, you can order a cup of hot tea, only 5rmb~
Climbing difficulty: ⭐
Morning: Take a Jeep to the foot of Bromo Volcano, you can directly climb to the edge of the volcano, overlooking the heart of the earth's heart roaring and thick smoke (p4). The overall climb takes about half an hour, the difficulty is moderate, need to have some physical strength, the first part of the road is the gully wild road out of the magma flow, the latter part of the climb has artificially repaired stairs. When I heard the roar of volcanic activity at the moment of reaching the top, tears almost burst out, as if I had finally reached the ideal end - the place I had been longing for in my childhood.
Climbing difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐
Small tips:
1⃣ Travel. If you are not very good at free travel guides, it is recommended to charter a car, which can save a lot of worry. Our bromo+ijen three days and two nights per capita 1000+, including driver + guide + accommodation + breakfast + return to Bali hotel.
2⃣ Dress. Bromo town is at a higher altitude, more than 2700 meters, it is colder in the early morning, it is recommended to wear a stormtrooper, if you are afraid of cold, you can add a down liner. You can wear a short sleeve inside, it is hotter to climb the volcano after the sun comes out. And remember to wear non-slip shoes.
3⃣ Flashlight/headlamp. It's pitch black in the early morning, there are no lights on the road, it's recommended to prepare a flashlight or headlamp, (mobile phone light can also be used, but it consumes power...).
4⃣ Drone + camera. If you want to take pictures, it's best to use a tripod to occupy a position
